One of the only beers from this brewery that I have really enjoyed, since I do not like IPAs. They're well-crafted, but high IBUs are not my thing. Their Chocolate Manifesto and Aurora Heart are fantastic, however.

Golden and clean filtered with a moderate amount of slow rising bubbles, and topped with 2 fingers of white head.
Smells of bananas, Czech pilsner hops, and dry hay.
The taste totally follows the nose, leaving a clean, crisp finish.
Medium body, and moderate carbonation.
Its got the weight of pilsener, and the taste of bananas. Crisp, dry and refreshing. Kind of strange, but for flying "monkeys" I get the bananas and so I can ape out with them. Drinking in Muskoka December 1st, 2017.

As the trends in craft brewing are moving up and up- up on flavor, up on alcohol content, up on bitterness, up on intensity- it seems that any attempt to explore the alternatives in craft beer have abandoned the American founded light lager. But our friends from the north remind them that the style is worth making well.
Light golden and crystal clear, the lager sheds a compact, razor-thin head that trickles to a necklace and holds firm. Its light lace and floating scent yields a mostly malty, but partial grainy scent, laced with light floral action and baking bread. Its grain sweetness is firm as those light breads, malt sweetness and light dough plays delicately on the tongue.
With little development over the middle, the malt sweetness slowly recedes and the grain character seems to rise. Its lightly toasted character is softly savory while its cereal sweetness rounds into whole-grain and bran. As the hops turn from floral to spicy, its bitter balance is grassy, peppery and somewhat bright.
Finishing much fuller in taste and texture than the usual light lager, the beer's late taste is a continuation of cereal, hay, grass and citrus. Its a pleasant lager flavor with corn-like vegetation and faint sulfur. Its flavor and balance comes across much better than its description reads.
