Can to pint glass.
Taps, Niagara, Ontario.

Reddish brown color. Big white head. Good retention.

Dry, dank IPA. Hair spray comes in late after 5-6 ounces of intensifies.

Ok carbonation. Medium body.

A: Body is yellow to orange with a white head showing minor retention and no lacing.
S: The aroma has some resinous profiles closed together with hints of pineapple. There's a good hoppy touch but no big deal here.
T: The taste starts with a resin profile getting a little tropical, pineapple-like touch but very little and goes almost missed. 3.5
M: Body is medium. Bitterness is high and smooth. Good finish.
O: Good bitterness but the flavour could be enhanced a lot, since the tropical touches is nearly zero and the resin profiles are also fainted. Would love to try this fresh just to understand the aging process on this one.

Really delightful IPA from Flying Monkeys. 473ml can. Poured into a glass.

Canned March 19, 2017.

Look: Nice white head. Sort of an amber colour. Initially lots of bubbles that die down after a bit.

Smell: Initially strong citrus notes that become subdued after a short period. Hints of pine.

Taste: Citrus, pine, malt. 72 IBUs.

Body: Medium bodied.

Finish: Nice tart/dry finish that is consistent with the style.

I would certainly try this again.

Highly recommended.
Look was a light amber colored ale. Very promising and certainly consistent with the style. Smell was somewhat floral. The bottle was very clear that it was brewed with citra hops which are usually the best ingredient of the american IPA.
Taste: malty backbone was clear the the hopiness was also present. Not very bitter. I could swear the hops tasted more like Mosiac hops which I don't enjoy nearly as much. Overall a tad bit disappointing. I really wanted to like this but would likely not buy again. Tasted a lot like Founders Mosiac Promise. So if you love that beer you will like this as well.

I picked up a six pack from my local Sobeys Liquor Store. Packaging was cool. The beer is a good IPA. Fresh, hoppy and bitter taste with some nice floral aroma. I could have drank the six of them one after the other. Will buy again.
