From a bottle, pours as a clear yellow, effervescent, and with a thin white head. Aroma is very slight -- on the level of a Bud Light. Taste also is light with a touch of hops, a bit of sweetness, but also "adjunct" flavors of corn and rice. I'm not saying this beer wouldn't be really welcome ...if... I'd just left a seven-hour pull of laying asphalt in the 100 degree sun (and it was really really cold).

As soon as I opened the bottle, I could smell the skunk - taste follows smell, skunky. If it was fresh, it would probably be a good beer, taste grain forward and a decent lager, but can't get past the smell.

Poured from a 330ml bottle. It has a clear, golden body, with visible carbonation, and a thick white head.

It has a faint aroma of grain and some sweetness.

Smooth taste, with soft malts and little bitterness. Well carbonated. The aftertaste is dry.

A light, easy drinking pale lager.

Not too bad, aromas a little skunky but not overwhelmingly so and beer was palatable. Best by March 2020 printed on bottle. Pours a clean golden color with minimal lingering head or lacing. Smells slightly skunky, in the background was some malt, grain, corn, caramel. Taste follows the nose, a little too sweet with minimal hops but not too bad. Crisp, mild, thin mouthfeel, decent carbonation. Safe and light.

L- Very pale straw, 1Cm pillowy white head, holds right the way down the glass. Came packaged in 330ml pull-off cap bottle.
S- The moment I pulled the cap off the hops hit me; 'very Rasta'. That settles down in the glass where overall the smell is mild with little to note.
T- Typical EPL/'Euro-lager', though with slightly more pronounced dry hopping into the finish.
F- Pretty dry, clean taste, would make a refreshing beer on a summer holiday.
O- Marked as 4.7% though to me this comes over as a just above 5.2%. The ingredients are listed in micro font, it appears to list 'Barley, Malt and Maltose' - not sure what is going on there. Lable lists 'Services aux Carlsberg', and product of Greece but no importer info into the UK.
Bought from the Adnams shop at the Holkham (farm) Estate that can be found in the Directory on this site.
Now this^ shop is fancy/classy and owned by a brewery so I wasn't expecting this beer I found there to be a slouch. Yet it has some often rather low-trajectory ingredients... yet the beer actually comes out ok after all of that. Think Stella/Kroney, with more hops + character.
BB 02/20, £1.49.

I am rarely at loss to describe beer but this one stumped me. Definitely dont dislike but definitely not my favorite. Light and easy but even ice cold not a go to.

If you've been to Greece before 2015, this was likely one of your only choices for a local beer. Is it amazing? No. Is it terrible? No. I would say this would be on par with Stella or Heineken. Slightly above Budweiser or Miller. There is nothing remarkable about this beer yet you probably find yourself ordering it at Greek restaurants when available because it brings back memories.

This is a light and refreshing Lager, nothing more and nothing less. It is a malty beer with a watery sweetened cardboard type taste. You could drink this all day because it is inoffensive and fairly tasteless.

A couple of these really fill you up though. There are a few Greek beer companies attempting to bring craft beer to Greece but nothing like the craft beer revolution going on in the United States. This is a beach bar beer ... if you want a craft beer experience, this one isn't for you. If you want to remember your trip to Greece or pound beers all day at the clubs in Mykonos, Mythos will do.

Cerveza ligera, con una carbonatación media y una cabeza espumosa que dura muy poco tiempo. Aroma débil a malta, cítrico y un toque herbáceo. En boca es acuosa, ligeramente dulce con notas de malta.

Golden and filtered with moderate carbonation, and a finger of white head.

Smells of malt, cardboard, water and wet dog.

Tastes of malts, water, a hint of fruitiness and cardboard.

Light body with little carbonation.

I got this in Kalavan, Greece, and brought it back to California where I am drinking it, April 16th, 2019.

Poured into a Pilsner glass. Crystal clear and golden in color. There was a small white head with ok retention. Not much aroma; some faint bread and floral hoppy notes were evident on close inspection. Same with the taste. No off flavors but overall just flabby with anemic grainy and hoppy flavor. Ok and I’ve had worse.

-Canned version
-pours a clear golden with a big, foamy, white head
-medium to high carbonation visible
-medium to high sweetness
-low to medium bitterniss for the style
-low to medium carbonation
-light body
One of the better Macro "beach" Lagers.
Seems well-brewed,no real off flavours. They could've cut down on the sweetness though or use more hops.

330 ml bottle into lager glass; bottled on 6/6/2018, best before 6/2019. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A touch of fruity/skunky aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a delicious Euro pale lager. All around nice robustness of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great clean pils malt showcase, with nice earthy noble hop presence/balance for the style. A very enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example.

Served in a pint glass from the bottle.

Appearance: clear gold. I'll with medium bubbles.

Smell: light almost no hops.

Taste: Sweet simple hops notes of malts and coming off very light. Good starter for the night.

Mouth: Not sticky but smooth. Light malts at the end.

Overall: Can't complain for free it hits the spot. Always in a glass and happy New year's. Salud!

Pours a crystal clear gold/yellow with a thin white cap that disappeared instantly, no lacing. Aroma is noble hops and grains. Flavor follows the nose with a touch of sweetness. Feel is light and adequately carbonated. Overall a decent enough representation of the style.

I really don't know why this is getting such a poor grade for a pale lager. It's clean, refreshing, no bad aftertaste, no corn syrup. It's not as good as perhaps a Heineken, but it is good enough for the style category that it is in my opinion. Oh well! now I can say I have had a beer from Greece. Cheers! B-

Reminded me of Heineken, but a little less malt and a bit more watery. Flavor of barley and maybe some corn. Wanted to try something Greek in the bottle while out eating Greek food.

It poured a thin see through golden color with a small head that disappeared to a small thin ring. The smell is what you expected from Euro larger. The taste is ok no off flavor and some sweetness to it. Feel is slightly water with plenty of carbonation. Overall a fair beer just not a lot here.

Poured from green 330ml bottle into glass. Label is stamped for best by date as '06/20/18', this this beer is "old". Pull tab top for opening.
Clear, gold colored body. Slight head upon pouring quickly dissipates, but retains a thin ring fed by bubbles. No lacing.
Lots of skunk in the aroma, along with some sweetness.
Taste continues with the skunk and the sweetness (from malt or hops?). Some biscuit malts are also present.
Thin mouth feel. Okay carbonation.
This is a beer for mass consumption, and will be a good mate with many foods and for many occasions. A beer not to be taken seriously, but rather drunk very cold during hot summer days.

500ml green bottle with pull top. 5.0% ABV.

Generic, European lager (one of the Carlsberg stable of brands) widely available across Greece. Most appealing when drunk ice cold on a blistering hot day, preferably from an iced glass, in a taverna with a sight line of the sea. Pretty much pointless in any other circumstance.

Better on draught. The bottled version develops a soapy aftertaste as it warms.

Pours a foggy straw with a white finger of head. Head has good retention. Aroma is floral, and herbal hops with a stark dank quality to it. Pale and biscuit malts behind. Flavor profile is herbal and floral hops with pleasant pale and biscuit malts that round out this beer very well. The dank quality present in the aroma is minute in the flavor profile. Mouth feel is crisp with a medium-thin consistency making this a very refreshing beer. Overall, a refreshing beer with a good mix of hops and malts. Well executed.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 11.2oz bottle. Pull tab bottle cap.

Decanted from an 11.2 oz (330 ml) green bottle into a conical pint glass; best before 10/2018.
A: Pours a crystal clear, dark straw color with a quarter inch, white head, retention to a rim handsome modest lacing.
S: Grassy and grainy aromas with a touch of spice.
T: Cracker and grain flavors most evident with significant bitterness. Somewhat bitter aftertaste.
M: Light bodied with soda like carbonation tapering to champagne-style bubbles.
O: Drinkable but not exceptional like many Euro Pale Lagers. Tried out of curiosity, but probably would not do so again.

Poured from 12oz bottle into Pilsener Glass.

L: Very clear, straw yellow, half finger white head has minimal retention.

S: Smells very grainy, slight herbal hop tone.

T: Sweet grain is held in check by good bitter hops but the herbal tone is just meh. Mediocre.

F: Light, crisp, lingering dry grain.

O: Meh.

I tried this at Athenas in Chicago. It poured a clear golden with fizzy white head that did not leave any lace. The scent had hints of grain. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was decent.

Hate the green bottle, don't get the pry off cap lever? Aroma reeks of being lightstruck, flavor actually isn't as terrible as I expected, but just another skunky green bottle offering

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light gold color, with a very thin white head that fades very quickly and leaves very little lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains pungent malts, lager yeast and a very touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of lager yeast, grain and a thin malt character. Then some mild malt sweetness comes in. The hops presence is very mild there is not much balance. The after-taste is slightly bready.

M: Crisp but not very smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: Not very flavorful, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, typical representation of style, this is not a very good beer.
