From the bottle, it pours a clear yellow golden color with a small white head that slowly reduces and leaves some lacing. Grainy scent in the nose. In the mouth, it is grain and some herbal bitterness. Drink it cold on a hot day!

I come from Czech Repubic one of the biggest beer countries.
This beer is the BEST I ever had! I think people here rating bad are just jelous as they dont want another country to have such a beer.
After tasted more than 120 Czech beers and more than 200 foreign beers I must say that this beer is the BEST I ever had.
Frozencold with or after food.. G-O-A-T !!!

Yes I had this while on holiday in Greece... and found it quite acceptable. Probably the best(??) Greek industrial pale lager. However, I don’t feel any need to have it imported to Norway.....

Rerate: It is now actually imported to Norway, in a watered-down 4.7% ABV version, in order to be sold in our grocery stores. 330 ml green bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Crystal clear pale golden colour, decent head. Fresh and grassy moderate aroma. The flavour is fairly "clean" with a moderate malty sweetness and fairly decent hops in the finish. OK on a hot summer’s day.

Clear gold appearance with a small, off white head and a tiny amount of lacing. Mildly sweet, corny aroma offset by toasted grain. Metallic flavors overlap the low keyed hops. Vegetal aftertaste. Light bodied mouthfeel; thin, watery palate. Cardboard-like finish.

i love trying international lagers from strange locations or places that are not commonly known for their beer, this was a cool find, and its a fine brew, checks all the boxes for the style without really being unique or different in any way, but its not cheap to me at all, nothing metallic, sweet, adjuncty, or watered down, its seems all malt to me, slightly fuller feeling, and the finish would be very clean if it wasnt for the skunky green bottle character that unfortunately plagues it. i always try to not judge a beer like this too harshly for something like that, hard to police quality worlds away. this has a great mouthfeel with its round body and intense carbonation, and its boldly flavored enough to stand up to a meaty garlicky gyro, probably its ideal food context, seems born for that. a lesser lager would easily be overwhelmed here. id love to try it fresher sometime, but i do think it translates pretty well even still, kind of reminds me of green bottle moosehead growing up, i will always have a soft spot for beers like this. cool to have something international and different here in boise, i enjoyed this with my food at meraki downtown, a place i definitely recommend!

Found this one at a popular chain, Niko Nikos, in Houston. Six of them in an ice bucket for $15 was too good to pass up. No, I didn't finish off all six at the restaurant. Since the COVID plague, Texas has allowed us to buy drinks at restaurants and take them home. The beer? Oh, right.....it's a classic, fairly light, Euro-style lager reminding me of Pilsner Urquell, Tyskie, or Stiegl. It's very refreshing with that hoppy bitter finish. We drink it colder than they do, I'm sure. It is just fine right out of an ice bucket, and I can see it standing up to a Southeast Texas summer. I would definitely buy it again.

Delicious light beer. Similar to Heineken. Smooth. Crisp. Refreshing. Great for yard work on a hot day. Or for sitting around the yard admiring whatever catches your attention.

In the category of European lager beers there are many low quality products. Drinks with the name of beer with the sole purpose of quenching thirst. Myths? Just a beer simulation

Gold in color with excellent clarity. There’s a fingernail off white around the rim and covering most of the top. The aroma is of skunky well water. I’m tasting an abundance of skunky well water and lager yeast. Ugh. The mouth is light and quaffable.

(330 ml green bottle, pull tab crown, best before end 05/2020; purchased cold single at Shangy's... poured into fat tulip)

L: brilliantly-clear, gold liquid; huge off-white, tight foam; silky... head eventually slinks away; little lace

S: mellow skunk, clove phenol, spicy dried grass, background smear of crackery dough... skunk, spice, and herbal hop fighting for space... altogether potent and inviting though

T: dry, clipped, lightly resinous/oiled pils malt underbelly; peppery, grassy spice prickling static hovering top of palate... aftertaste almost bone dry, moderately sharp herbal bitterness lingering... skunk quickly fades far into the background

F: semi-sharp, stinging carbonation (honed and pointed by the bitter elements), supremely dry quick drop finish, with perhaps a modicum of residual resinous drag... the cut attack is where it also reminds me of German pils... soft spice keeps back of palate glowing

O: kinda dances between Euro pale and German pils sensibilities... luckily spotted a fresh(er) bottle behind the row of best-by 2018s... not a bad drop; could get a bottle like this again or, preferably, some cans if they exist... I do prefer the more malt-rich Euro pales; this one is a 'do' spur of the moment; would not seek though (1613)

From a bottle, pours as a clear yellow, effervescent, and with a thin white head. Aroma is very slight -- on the level of a Bud Light. Taste also is light with a touch of hops, a bit of sweetness, but also "adjunct" flavors of corn and rice. I'm not saying this beer wouldn't be really welcome ...if... I'd just left a seven-hour pull of laying asphalt in the 100 degree sun (and it was really really cold).

As soon as I opened the bottle, I could smell the skunk - taste follows smell, skunky. If it was fresh, it would probably be a good beer, taste grain forward and a decent lager, but can't get past the smell.

It pours a clear, bright, golden body. Small white head with a little bit of lacing.

It has an aroma of bready malts, corn and grassy hops.

The taste has bready malts, corn, grassy hops and notes of butter, with a light, lingering bitterness. Light bodied, with light bitterness and medium carbonation.

A light, easy drinking pale lager.

Not too bad, aromas a little skunky but not overwhelmingly so and beer was palatable. Best by March 2020 printed on bottle. Pours a clean golden color with minimal lingering head or lacing. Smells slightly skunky, in the background was some malt, grain, corn, caramel. Taste follows the nose, a little too sweet with minimal hops but not too bad. Crisp, mild, thin mouthfeel, decent carbonation. Safe and light.

L- Very pale straw, 1Cm pillowy white head, holds right the way down the glass. Came packaged in 330ml pull-off cap bottle.
S- The moment I pulled the cap off the hops hit me; 'very Rasta'. That settles down in the glass where overall the smell is mild with little to note.
T- Typical EPL/'Euro-lager', though with slightly more pronounced dry hopping into the finish.
F- Pretty dry, clean taste, would make a refreshing beer on a summer holiday.
O- Marked as 4.7% though to me this comes over as a just above 5.2%. The ingredients are listed in micro font, it appears to list 'Barley, Malt and Maltose' - not sure what is going on there. Lable lists 'Services aux Carlsberg', and product of Greece but no importer info into the UK.
Bought from the Adnams shop at the Holkham (farm) Estate that can be found in the Directory on this site.
Now this^ shop is fancy/classy and owned by a brewery so I wasn't expecting this beer I found there to be a slouch. Yet it has some often rather low-trajectory ingredients... yet the beer actually comes out ok after all of that. Think Stella/Kroney, with more hops + character.
BB 02/20, £1.49.

If you've been to Greece before 2015, this was likely one of your only choices for a local beer. Is it amazing? No. Is it terrible? No. I would say this would be on par with Stella or Heineken. Slightly above Budweiser or Miller. There is nothing remarkable about this beer yet you probably find yourself ordering it at Greek restaurants when available because it brings back memories.

This is a light and refreshing Lager, nothing more and nothing less. It is a malty beer with a watery sweetened cardboard type taste. You could drink this all day because it is inoffensive and fairly tasteless.

A couple of these really fill you up though. There are a few Greek beer companies attempting to bring craft beer to Greece but nothing like the craft beer revolution going on in the United States. This is a beach bar beer ... if you want a craft beer experience, this one isn't for you. If you want to remember your trip to Greece or pound beers all day at the clubs in Mykonos, Mythos will do.

Golden and filtered with moderate carbonation, and a finger of white head.

Smells of malt, cardboard, water and wet dog.

Tastes of malts, water, a hint of fruitiness and cardboard.

Light body with little carbonation.

I got this in Kalavan, Greece, and brought it back to California where I am drinking it, April 16th, 2019.

Poured into a Pilsner glass. Crystal clear and golden in color. There was a small white head with ok retention. Not much aroma; some faint bread and floral hoppy notes were evident on close inspection. Same with the taste. No off flavors but overall just flabby with anemic grainy and hoppy flavor. Ok and I’ve had worse.

330 ml bottle into lager glass; bottled on 6/6/2018, best before 6/2019. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A touch of fruity/skunky aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a delicious Euro pale lager. All around nice robustness of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great clean pils malt showcase, with nice earthy noble hop presence/balance for the style. A very enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example.

Mouth: Not sticky but smooth. Light malts at the end.
