A: Chocolate brown color with a nearly non-exsistant head of tan-brown foam. Medium low carbonation.

S: Aromas of milk chocolate and dark malts dominated. Reserved hop note mixed in for good measure.

T: Creamy and chocolatey, with a pronounced note of bitterness toward the finish. Hints of coffee and roasted wood add to the warming and fullness of this brew.

M: Medium bodied and slightly creamy. Nice.

D: Not bad. Would make for a nice night cap on any cool or winter evening. Worth trying.

On draft at Fort Street. Nice deep brown/amber pour with a generous 2 finger mocha head that hung around for a bit. Smell is of coffee and chocolate with some dark fruit notes. Taste follows the nose and adds a burnt/earthy quality that is a nice addition to the porter qualities. Not incredibly complex, but a soild brew none the less. Feel was a nice blend of carbonation and silk. Medium to medium heavy on the tongue. Overall- A pleasant surprise. First trip to the brewery and this was a solid beer for a cold night and football. Enjoyed the blend of coffee, carmel, chocolate and burnt malts. Nice mellow hop finish. Would hit this again, a must try-

Very dark brown with ruby highlights and a light tan, creamy cap. Great head retention with sticky lacing. Aromas of roast and coffee, malty, and a bit of chocolate. Moderate bitterness with roast and burnt notes, a bit nutty, coffee, malted milk, and chocolate in the finish. Medium bodied with lowish carbonation and a bit of astringency from the dark malts. A solid porter.
