A - Yellow/Golden color, large thin head that quickly dissapears and leaves little lacing.

S - Malty and breadlike, there is a strong metallic/artificial feeling to the smell.

T - Mostly malt, some hops, the metallic/artificial feeling is also there.

M - Watery and lots of carbonation.

A booring pale lager.

A friend brought this back from a recent business trip from Sweden. Actually he brought back two brown and one green bottle that otherwise look identical. I am reviewing the brown bottle.
It poured a pale yellow with a very thin head that quickly became barely a lacing. The high carbonation caused the thin lacing, without the high carbonation I would think it would look flat.
There was nothing much to the aroma. Very thin - some fruity hops tried to appear in the smell as the drink progressed, but fell short. There was a very slight mustiness to it.
The taste was thin - watery, but not necessarily offensive. By flavor, it could almost pass as a "light" beer.
Despite the waterish qualities, it left a bit of a somewhat dry, mettalic taste in the mouth.
Despite its boring, non-complex taste, I was able to finish it - probably because of its relatively high carbonation and lack of anything really offensive except a bit of a metallic feel.
I wouldn't recommend this one - It's watery and dull.

The beer is clear dark golden, small lively bubbles, a white head leaving some lacing.

The smell is rather weak, sweet malt nuances, some lemon and day-old grass.

Starting with a sweet biscuit taste, some ordinary lemonade, a somewhat grassy bitterness.

Medium carbonation, small bubbles, a soft texture, a medium body and a slightly dry finish.

A very normal Swedish "stor stark", but as a delayed train waiting company in a warm and dusty Alvesta (small town in southern Sweden) it was quite enjoyable.

A typical pale lager appearance. Pale straw colour. Good head and lacing on this one in a tall pilsner glass.

Aroma is very mild but smells of subtle noble hops and barley malt. The can says it's made with Halertau hops.

The taste is nicely bitter with a bit of dirty lager bite. It's a dortmunder/helles/pilsner type lager that has plenty of flavour. Maybe not the most refined example but tasty and enjoyable with some noble hop flavour and sweet honey malt tastes.

Very decent beer.

This is a pretty standard and boring beer but by no means taste bad. It's true to the style, a boring style but a style that serves it's purpose, getting drunken and partying with comrades. There are a lot of worse choices to choose from and this one is slightly above average.

Looks straw yellow with a white head. Dissipates quickly but is by no means fizzy and maintains a bit.

Smells of bland barley with some corn sweetness. Also metallic spicy hops.

Slightly above average taste, cheap but still palatable and malty without much sweetness because of the hops. Actually this is well balanced, just of low quality.

Very watery in the mouth with a crisp finish. An easy drink, just ordinary.

Tried this when I was in Sweden. Can't say found too many beers that tasted great out there but this one wasn't too shabby compared what was out there. reminded me a bit of molson beers. Can't say the greatest but worth checking out if you are over there. You will not find this in the states along with most swedish beers due to there retail laws.

This was the 7th most sold beer in Sweden in 2004 (the 5th most sold in 2003).

The colour is yellow with a tint of gold. The low white foam builds a sinking finger thick soft foam.

The smell is bready (is there such a world?) and chemical with some sweet malt and maybe some aroma hops. Not much of bitterness here.

The taste is a bit sweet sour with lots of (almost roasted) malts; it is quite heavy in a bad way. The chemical/artificial feeling is present as it was in the smell. The short aftertaste got some mild, anonymous hops and a sourish bitterness.

Carbonation is fresh with lots of small bubbles.

Another dull pale euro lagerÂ…

Very pale golden lager with a thin head that quickly dissolves. The aroma has some hop flavours, as well as a hint of dried fruit.

The dominant flavour in the taste of the beer is a hop bitterness, that spreads through to every corner of the mouth. There is also a fair deal of carbonation in the mouth-feel. Other than that the beer is quite dull.

This common Swedish lager is not as bad as I thought it would have been. That being said, it is by no means above average. But in the absence of better beers it is better than no beer at all.

Bottle. Not bad tasting, just very watery and thin. The bitterness is almost entirely nonexistent.

I recently drank this beer in Stockholm on tap. It has a clear honey color, with a nice fruit smell. It pours a small one fingered head.

The mouth feel is pleasantly carbonated, and the finish has a mild fruit taste.

Overall, a clear, crisp Swedish beer. Far better than Heineken.
