Served in a tulip from a tap.

This is a beer with no hops!
Instead it has been given it´s aroma from the Bog myrtle which was traditionally used in Scandinavia for brewing beer until the Hanseatic League used it´s inluence to make hops the most common aroma in the 15th century.

A: A redbrown colour. Hardly any foam. Quite cloudy.

S: Really sweet with a bit of honey to it. If you´ve ever been in a Swedish marsh where the Bog myrtle grows you will instantly recognise it. It´s also very comparable to the smell that comes from the The Ontario Balsam Poplar tree in spring and summer.
I also sense a bit of blueberry and the Swedish "vörtbröd" which is a traditional christmas-bread spiced with cinnamon, ginger and clove.

T: Honeysweet with some dryness to it. No sourness or apparent bitterness what-so-ever. My only comparisons are Swedish "vörtbröd", blueberrys and wet marshes in the Scandinavian forest.

M: Pretty round, robust and full bodyed. No carbonation.

D: Unlike anything I´ve ever tasted before. It´s unique but really worth tasting. Allthough one is enough for an evening I would most definately want to drink this again.
