Notes:
In the beginning of 2015, we made a collaboration beer with Danish Amager Brygghus. Now we have made a sequel in-house.
Lavish means to overwhelm, or to be extravagant. That is exactly what this unfiltered beer is. We have used more hops than usual. Two for us new varieties of hops in the form of Lemon Drop and the yet unnamed cultivar with the working title of HBC 344. Plus Mosaic, Chinook and Citra.

Relaunched now, Sample from bottle at Vectura-messe, ABV 6.8%. Pale golden colour. Very bitter, the body and fruitiness does not quite live up to the bitterness. Will rerate if I have a larger sample.

Pours a fairly clear amber with fine, soft foam.
Smell is citrusy with notes of peaches and melon and a hint of grassiness.
Taste is as always with Oppigårds, very balanced with a softly sweet maltbase setting the groundwork upon which the hops can show notes of citrus, grass, melon and peaches. Moderate bitterness that marries well with the fruitiness.
Mouthfeel is medium and well carbonated.
Overall, this is very balanced and tasty IPA. You know what you get with Oppigårds, clean, balanced and true to style.

Pours hazy, orange-yellow, with a two finger high white head.
Nose: Pine, grass, citrus, vanilla, tropical fruit, caramel malt and resin.
Taste: Citrus, grapefruit, malt, peach, pine and orange peel.
Body: Medium body and carbonation. Medium to high bitterness. Dry ending. Smooth texture. Great beer!
