Very nice beer. Its balance is perfect. The malt side is a bit strong for NE style IPAbut it's enjoyable. It's fruity and floral. Mostly tropical fruits with lichee but also white grape and citrus. It's very juicy and dank and have a nice orange bitterness. Very well crafted

New Sweden pours a hazy orange, with a thick, white head.

The smell s juicy and tropical. Hints of vanilla, and a load of oranges. Smells a bit like Swedish ice cream Solero.

The taste starts of tropical and juicy, a real citrus treat. It's broken up a bit by a terrific, balanced bitterness, that lingers for some time. Really refreshing, and pretty deep.

Mouthfeel is soft and smooth, with a perfect level of bubbles.

This is probably Sweden's steadiest brewery, so I was expecting a really well crafted, but in no way extreme, beer. That is exactly what I got. This is a terrific take on the NE IPA, and one I will get again.

The colour is orange-gold, the liquid hazy. The two finger head is compact and white; it sinks down to a thick lid leaving no lacing.

The smell god distinct notes of grapefruit juice, grapefruit and lemon peel. Sweet notes of orange syrup and honey drops. Some dried bitter orange peel and a touch mango.

The taste is bitter-sweet with lots of grapefruit, mango, lime and sweet oranges. Some strawberry-flavoured candy and a touch of lemon acid. Medium body. The aftertaste is a bit sweeter with hints of chalk and honey, plums, mango, ripe lemons and fruit candy. The finish is somewhat harsh with oranges, chalk and beef gravy.

The carbonation is medium strong, the small bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is quite thick and a little sticky, almost like fruit puree.

As expected, a solid New England/Juicy IPA. I had hoped for even more juicy flavours and milder bitterness, though.

I was expecting this to be a tropical fruit sweetness bomb that some people claim oversaturate the AIPA-market right now (even though I have to admit, I am still incredibly weak for them). This is more balanced then that. There are definitely some tropical fruits present, but it's the rather substantial (yet balanced), malt-bite that distinguishes this from a lot of other beers of its style. Otherwise I get a lot of lemon, some grass, and gum.The carbonation is a bit heavy though

Very hazy, yellow to orange beer with a two finger high, white head that sinks down to a thin lid that stays. Some lacing on the glass. The beer almost look like orange juice!

Nose: Fruity and juicy! A lot of grapefruit, orange, mango, pineapple, tropical fruits, honey and grass.
Taste: Again a lot of fresh fruit! Just like the nose. Fresh hops. Summer feeling! Grass & pine.
Mouth: Full body. Medium carbonation. Thick and almost chewy. Sweet and dry ending.

I LOVE this style on IPA (NEIPA, New England IPA). First I fell in love with Stigbergets West Coast IPA, after that GBG Beer Week, Narangi etc.
I must say that Björn has managed to brew a beer that's up there with all the great NEIPA's, and to a great price!
