33 cl. bottle. Thanks Nikos! Pours black with a decent tan head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, bourbon, and coffee. Taste is dark chocolate, roasted malt, bourbon barrel, coffee, and a bit of vanilla. Bourbon forward as it warms. Excellent.

33 cl bottle. Pours almost black. Smells of nutty malts and coffee. Tastes of coffee. Bourbon. Woody back end with strong roasted malt. Boozy without being very hefty. Good. Seems a bit lighter than the Stormaktsporter I remember.

Had this at sheltonfest. Was very excited when I saw it. Was good, but not normal Kaggen! good.
Big thin tan head. Dark brown/black color. Roasted notes with lots of chocolate and some barrel showing. Dark dried fruits, molasses, figs, raisins. Pretty thick. Very fun to try.

Pours jet black with some fins light brown foam.
Smell is powerful, starting with a burst of coconut and wrangling in chocolate, roasted coffee, cinnamon and oaky vanilla. Gets a bit sweeter with warmth.
Taste is incredible! Powerful, yet subtle. Starts with a huge wave of coffee, chocolate and coconut, sort of like a Bounty bar dunked in coffee. Behind this massive curtain lurks notes of banana, port, vanilla and charred oak along with a bit of bitterness. The ABV shows itself in warming only, you can't taste any of it. As it warms (and you should let it warm) more sweetness and notes of cinnamon and nutmeg pop up. This really is world class.
Mouthfeel is thick, chewy and oily, and well carbonated. One of the thickest porters I've tried.
Overall, this is superb. Layer after layer of flavor and a truly perfect mouthfeel. Very glad I have another bottle of this.

I'm gobsmacked. It is a truly incredible beer. In my opinion on of the best porters ever. Perfect balance in sweetness, well hidden alcohol, the body of an angel. Buy every bottle you can get your hands on. I sure will.
