vibe: 4.5 | quality: 4.5 | service: 1.25 | selection: 4.5

Vibe: Dark lit, with wooden floors, and fancy, low shelves. Pretty cool vibe to buy beer, wine, and liquor. It seems like a place you could kick back and enjoy a beer, unfortunately, none of that.

Quality: Good selection of craft beers, with a huge mix-six shelf (everything is priced by the bottle). Coolers are less then extensive, but feature a wide array of beers. Downside here is they do seem to run about a dollar or two more per bottle or six pack than the average in town.

Service: I've been helped pretty in-depth before, but also not received any help at all on some visits. Beer help just depends on who is working. They are hesitantly polite regardless. Just make sure you check the bottle/can dates, because they will push some older beers.

Selection: Phenomenal. Best mix and match six packs I've seen so far in town, for both domestic craft and import beer. They carry things like Mikkeller's as well, the downside is they don't stock much of it. Especially not their seasonal releases. The upside is they can order those in.

Update: Had a reservation go through, but then my bottle was given away. Only consolation prize was being told about the free tasting that night. Very displeased overall.

A very nice new store, obviously aimed at the more upscale "yuppie" level customers, with cheese, coffee, tea, a really nice walk-in humidor, etc. Staff seems professional and knowledgeable and are generally willing to discuss their products..
A very good inventory of premium and micro brew beers as well as liquors and wines. Beer tasing once a week, usually with a rep from their distributor to add a little more product expertise (although obviously biased) and have recently added a "Mix and Match" option. Still with all this, pricing seems in line with other local establishments.
