These days, the definition of a hero takes many forms. We have our military heroes, our men in blue, our firefighters, and our teachers, all worthy heroes on the everyday battlefield, highly visible to us in our lives. But what about those who fight the good fight off the main stage, those who get the job done for the rest of us with no ask of glory and no expectation of gratitude? They are humankind’s generous providers, they are the American farmer. They are men and women alike who march to the beat of one drum – Mother Nature.
It is thanks to their quiet and steady kindness that our bellies are full and our homes happy. We owe our friends out in the fields a great tribute, so we have married dark chocolate malts with lactose to create this delicious Cream Stout – our way of saying thank you for their tireless burden. Raise a glass of Lazy Magnolia Cream Stout, and thank a farmer.

Blac color and a beige head that is impossible to stop. Milk chocolate and roasted malt in the aroma. Moderately roasted bitterness in taste. Drinkable

Part of a shipment from Amazing Clubs about 3 years ago. I did not find this beer to my liking. I like some stouts but not this one, probably too much coffee taste.

Lazy magnolia´s cream stout is very basic, light and slightly sweetened brew. With it´s 5% ABV i would characterize it as a session stout. Very easy to drink and definitely worth a second try!

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high beige colored head that left a large, thin patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lactose are present in the nose along with hints of chocolate.
T: The taste follows the smell and mostly has flavors of lactose along with notes to hints of chocolate, the combination of which seems a bit like milk duds.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and somewhat thin on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer definitely seems lighter and thinner compared to milk stouts but is very easy to drink.

12 oz bottle acquired from brewery into Tallgrass globe snifter.
Watching some Hannity as the world goes to shit.
Dark brown with a tan head of 1/2 finger. No lacing. Cap dies somewhat quickly.
Aroma of chocolate and cola, floral vanilla, caramel, and root beer.
Flavor is sarsaparilla-forward, with some vanilla, ginger, and chocolate hydrox cookie. Comes off a touch too sweet to me but buoys quite a bit between that line. Slight earthiness. Pumpernickel bread. Vanilla and sweet cream ultimately win out on this one.
Feel is really smooth, like cream, with a soft carbonation. Mild heat. Mild roast. Good MF.
Overall a well crafted beer but it doesn't knock my socks off. If you like basic stouts with a little extra kick of sweetness, this might trip your trigger. Think of root beer, vanilla, and chocolate sandwich cookie.
Price paid : $2.19 / bottle
Would buy again : nah

I got a bottle of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured an opaque dark with very thin tan ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had roast and hints of cocoa notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with roast, vanilla, molasses and coffee. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

From a beer of the month bottle. Pour has a dense and creamy looking tan to brown foam head that settles in < 1 minute. The body is an opaque dark brown. Scent has a touch of sweetness that hits up front, but most of the linger scents are roasted coffee and roasted malts notes with hints of chocolate and caramel. Taste has a delightful transfer of that roasted coffee scent with some of the sweeter notes helping to round it out. Feel is on the lighter side of medium and verges on creamy but countered by a decent amount of effervescence on the tongue. All around a delight to drink with an even keeled flavor profile!

12 oz bottle with a June 2020 bottling date served in a Belgian snifter in July 2020. From the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC ($1.99).
Pours with the expected dark blackish-brown body. While the beige head looked good initially, it dissipated too quickly.
Clean malty flavor with an excellent bitter-sweet balance. Toasted bread and roasted nuts appear in the aftertaste.
