Thoroughly enjoyed this beast from the 22 oz bomber in a snifter.
Pouring a deep blackish brown with a decent head of dissipating light
brown foam this monster fades to a thin ring and light spotty pool with
subtle light spotty lacing. Nose of dark chocolate covered cherries, booze,
brown sugars, light bourbon, medium vanilla, and lightly char touched roasted
malts. Flavors lightly exceed the nose with dark cocoa dusted tart pie cherries
doused in light brown sugars and subtle bourbon that is not overwhelming in the
least with oak and vanilla notes tossed into a subtle brandy note with light raisin and
a hint of strawberry on the rear blending with cherries. Nice mouth feel; full body,
rich, lightly creamy, boozy, warming, and very rich.
Overall---a big beer done right from a legend in the CIncy area.
Excellent
Cheers
