They labeled this a farmhouse ale, and I think it's technically a saison, but it looks and tastes closest to your run-of-the-mill golden ale. Fine beer -- better to crush cold than enjoy as a session beer, so maybe I'm wrong both literally and figuratively in saying it's a saison. Both grainy and tart and OK enough. Moerlein has better offerings.
