12oz can with a best by date of 1/28/22. Opened 10/31/21.
1" white head, good retention at 1/4". Pale and straw golden colored Pils.
Sweet grain, honey, and floral aroma. Spicy hops and lightly sweet pilsner malt in the flavor.
Medium body (seems fuller than some/most for the style), medium carbonation and snappy mouthfeel.
Lengthy, spicy and ultimately dry finish.
Very Good.

19.2oz can, white wine glass, best by 11/6/21.

Crystal clear light gold with a loose, large bubbled white head.

Pilsner malt through and through. Slight noble hop spice.

Hit of earthy, spicy hops up front followed by that bready, grainy malt. It’s super clean with a moderate bitterness and a little sulphur.

It’s a bit soft for a pils. The body is right, but the carbonation is softer than usual.

It’s clearly a good pils.

L=Lemonade yellow/light gold and about 85% transparent. Small 1/2F head of white foam settles quickly with no lace.

N- Fresh rye bread, some spicy hops.

T- Light bitterness at first with some barley as a secondary note. Drying green hops prevail with a roundness form the barley. No cereal taste but rather a laid back underlying hint of sweetness masked by the hops. A light yeasty tang is easier to detect as the beer warms a bit.

M- Medium carbonation with very fine bubbles. Dry metallic feeling on the tongue. Some fullness due to concentration of carbonation, and a bit of cloying thickness on the back of the throat.

O- Nicely balanced with no sharp edges and a dry overall character. Definitely warming up to this beer over time.

How is this not a world class rated pils? I had heard good things about it at a bar or two but then it really caught my eye after winning Beer Temple's pils comparison a bit ago. Being in Chicago we have our pick of great beers and the Beer Temple guys know a thing or two about beer. So after trying it, I can see why it won the competition. It has the perfect balance of sweet/bitter and soft/crisp mouthfeel. It's a pretty beer that wouldn't scare off even the 15 year old neophyte beer drinker. It could use a longer finish maybe but aren't pilsners supposed to be crisp and short in the pallet? I could sip this all night long and never get bored or tired of it. I love the 12 pack of 12oz cans too. Don't pass it up. Just because it's not from a New England brewery doesn't mean it can't be world class.

I love Pilsner and this is the best Pilsner that I’ve ever had. It’s got perfect happiness and a great finish, I’m just sad that it’s not sold in Arizona.

I could have sworn I review this but guess I missed it, time to rectify the situation. Had on tap. Crystal clear golden body with a white head, visible carbonation. Smells grainy with grassy hops with a cereal malt sweetness. Taste is almost oaty, with cereal sweetness meeting lightly bitter grains, grassy and floral hops. Crisp, clean, light, and generally an easy going beer. Little thin and sweet for more pils preferences but ok

A local brewery that revived a 400 year old Austrian recipe. Last night I tried out pilsner urquell which is the flagship czech lager, now it's time to try the German variety of Pilsner. Happy to try this out of cans as I am leery of the skunking caused by the green bottles. Champagne like body. Wow, the nose on this one is different from most pilsners i've had. It has a wine or grape like scent. Detect some lemon and tart character and then it's grassy and a bit of noble hops. The malt backbone is cracker. Light bodied but not thin or without personality. Champagne like. Goes down easily with only a tinge of bitterness. This is perfect for warm weather. I would call this a session beer but the wine like aroma does throw me off a little bit. I wonder what's causing that? I guess I can get over it, as it gives it a slightly sour like quality which I like. Trumer Pils is graded a solid B.

Lighter golden in body. Crisp, clean, mildly floral, not watery at all, light cracker and pilsner malt. Lighter medium in body, crisp carbonation, mild bitter floral and touch of lemon that gives way to grainy malt. Pretty solid, though not spectacular.

Pours golden clear color with nice white head. Nice looking beer
Smell is a bit of bread, grass and pepper lemon.
Tastes is crisp and clean with just a touch of all of the flavored in the nose. Nothing over powers it. Very little bitterness. Crisp and clean as hell. Easily one of the beat pilsners in the world.

I've searched quite a while for the best easy-drinking, well-crafted pilsner/lager. Firestone Lager is fantastic and is solidly in the second tier, which has 5-6 beers in it. STS is delicious and is probably tier 2/3.

Trumer Pils is the best. You could have one or you could have five. People with sensitive tummies can enjoy them. The price is right ($9 for 6) and the cans look cool and classy but not overdone.

And the beer! Holy crap the beer. I'm still looking for the best hazy IPA, the best dunkel weisse, the best quad...but I've got the best pilsner right here.

This is one of the best beers I've ever had. You can sip it or crush it. Well balanced, flavorful, refreshing. This is a true north for my beer taste

Wow! This is a Pilsner with some character. Bready but not sweet. Noble hops give it some subtle yet peppery hop bite and the mouthfeel is soft but finishes dry. It’s a hot day here in So. CA. More please!

Pour- A nice bright yellow color with about two fingers worth of egg white-colored head

Smell- Was a pleasant almost lemony scent with a spicy hop characteristic.

Taste- Easy to drink with a light bitterness that lingered after. Very refreshing flavor with a subtle citrus flavor.

Feel- Very good carbonation that helped bring out the characteristics of the beer.

Overall I'd say this beer is a great representation of the pilsner style and is also a very good beer in its own right.

My favorite local go to Pilsner. Refreshing with just the right amount of hops.
