Sometimes our neighbours are too enticing to resist! In this case, our award-winning American Pale Ale pays homage to our naughty neighbours to the south. For hop lovers, the huge citrus and pine aroma greets the nose and continues on the palate, leaving a remarkably easy-drinking beer with a crisp, dry finish. We pack all this great flavour into a drinkable 4.9%ABV brew, making it perfectly refreshing all year round!

On the line for the style. Good, not great, probably a good intro ie not so flavourful as to throw off someone who drinks lagers/Pilsner’s regularly.

I bought a can at the LCBO in Ontario 473ml at 4.9%.
American style pale ale
Poured a 1finger head into glass that quickly disappeared but leaves a small lace as you drink it.
Taste is pine and citrus smooth creamy with a low bitterness level which makes it easy to drink.
It's it enjoyable and refreshing.
Cheers.

Look: Opaque pale yellow, with a 2 finger white rocky head. After 5 minutes the head has stayed strong at 1 finger.
Smell: Piney, citrus with hints of pineapple
Taste: Pineapple and lemons on the front end. Astringent on the back end.
Feel: Medium bodied, slightly oily. Fills the mouth playing strongly on the palate and sides of the tongue.
More hoppy than I prefer to drink, could use a bit more balance. That said if a hoppy pale ale is what your looking for this could do the trick. B+

Straight up gold murky color. Super foamy head. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Smooth drinker on the front end then a pretty quick hoppy bitter hit without driving me away and making me not like it. Pale ales and hoppy beers are not my favorite. That said, this has a pretty nice flavor festival going on and I'd drink it again.

Drank straight from the can at Hamilton's airport - out of all places! Nice fruity hop kick with a crisp, fizzy finish. The mix of Cascade, Centennial and Citra is a joy. A well balanced beer I would drink any day.

Poured from a Canadian tall boy can (473 ml). Frankly, I purchased it as much for the name and can design (extra quarter point on the look) as for the style and the abv. It turned out to be OK, with some nice bitterness up front.

Damn this is a good one! For a Pale Ale it's nearly as big and bold as an IPA! Love its rich, somewhat hazy, golden amber look and the aromas tell you right away that what you are dealing with is serious business. It is so tropical and zesty that you can't really resist it, it is amazing. It is brewed from purely American ingredients, and the end result is something that they call "a miracle of science."
This is what I call a true homage - when it almost, or in the end it eventually surpasses the original in many aspects!
Nickel Brook has redesigned the packaging, also the notes on the can to stand up for their award-winning, low bitterness, high fruitiness and highly enjoyable trademark American Pale Ale. Highly recommended!

It has a pale yellow color with an unfiltered haze and a tall white head of foam. The carbonation is very lively and it rushed right up out of the can as I popped the top. The nose is full of zesty lemony citrus and and honey covered cereal grain. The flavor picks up on this nice mix of citrusy hops and malt sweetness before drying out and turning to a firm pine like hop bitterness in the finish.
