A dry, funky saison that has much more in common with the original Belgian style than the excessively sweet saisons that many North American breweries are putting out. Lemon and orange aromas, quite bitter, and a dry finish.

Purchased at the LCBO $3.00 for a 473ml can served at 8deg C in a draught glass
A- Opens well and pours a tiny 1/2" head that films out within a minute or so. Medium gold colour and unfiltered
S- Nice yeast. Touch sour
T- Nice blend. Has that farmhouse yeasty goodness. Has good hops. Seem like noble hops. Nice light malt. Super refreshing to say the least
M- Creamy going down but dries out nicely
O- Nice brew. This is one I can get into. Great price point. Excellent value
Food Pairing
This wonderful little brew went well with....... Kielbasa and sauerkraut fried with onions. Super nice pairing. Salt and pepper the mix while frying in a heavy pan
Enjoy

Poured from new can into pint glass - - -pretty sure I sampled this back when it was bottled but didn't review so here we go. Looks delicious in the glass. Pours dreamy like. Smell is barnyard funk and alcohol. Tastes bready and more than a bit boozy. Missing any kind of sour notes beyond smell, which ends up a bit of a tease. Overall good, but not great. That being said - Think it would rule fresh from a local tap.

Smell: lightly fruity, sour orange.
Taste: mildly tart, average carbonation.
Finish: medium bitterness, dry w/touch of spices and sourness.
(no date on can, sigh).

Decent saison but it's missing what is needed to be a good saison. There is no sour funk in the taste which makes this end up in the very average bin. It's thin, with lots of peach, overly sweet, with a decent spice note in the finish.
I'd drink it again but I won't buy it again.
