Aroma is chocolate/dark chocolate, dark malts and mild chilies. The flavor is chocolate/milk chocolate, dark malts, mild chilies and a mix of slight sweetness and acidity/warming alcohol in the finish.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dark brown color and a thick consistency. There was a small amount of foamy, tan-colored head that quickly dissipated. Not a whole lot of lacing.

S: A very enticing aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and dark fruit.

T: Tasted of a decent amount of roasted malt, a bit of coffee (not as much as expected), some dark fruit (plums, raisins), a whole bunch of dark chocolate, and some licorice in the finish. Definitely a rich, complex flavor, with an emphasis on chocolate. Subtle, yet forceful.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a slightly slick finish. Medium- to full-bodied.

O: This is a well done, easy to drink stout. Very much worth your time.

Dark brown appearance, without a visible head.
Smell like coffee, with a well hidden alcohol on the back.
The taste is more towards an instant coffee, and the the aftertaste is very intense, similar to a ristretto.
A beer from a 2014 lot, with an oily and wood-like body.
Very good!

Dark brown with no visible carbonation, topped with 1 finger of beige head.

Smells off sweet, dark fruits, coffee, tar and black liquorice. Slight herbal quality as well.

Sour milk, dark chocolate, coffee, tar, tobacco, coffee, and black liquorice.

Thick, oily body with moderate but creamy and foamy carbonation.

Got at Central Festival in Chiang Mai, drank Dec 4th, 2014. Interesting, complex, sure am wondering about the sourness though, like if its infected or somehow off. Other than that, its interesting and complex.

Poured from an 11.2 oz bottle dated 08/05/15 into the modified tulip glass.
A - Dark, translucent backdrop, A coaxed off white cap quickly dissipates, refined carbonation continues gently.
S - Cocoa, tobacco, burnt dark sugar. With an increase in temperature the bakers chocolate, and cigar wrap push forward.
T - Dark roast coffee, fig, 80% chocolate bar, wonderful.
M - A bit oily, rich on the palate, light in carbonation and gentle exiting.
O - A very well crafted offering, delightful in every way.

From an 11.2oz bottle, dated 08/05/15. Served in a tulip.

Pours a totally opaque black with a meager beige head that doesn't last but a minute.

Smells awesomely of mocha java, vanilla, cherries and wood drying in the sun.

Tastes of rich chocolate, cream and cacao nibs, caramel, plums, cherries and molasses brown bread. Virtually no detectable alcohol. Finishes with a bit of bitter coffee, tongue-coating vanilla cream and a little more cherry.

Feel is creamy, thick and medium-heavy bodied considerably lightened by vigorous carbonation.

Delicious.

330ml bottle poured into a sniffer. Bottled 31/01/13, consumed Sep-16.

Apparently pitch-black in color with no light shall pass, the pour yields almost no head but just some tan bubble popping up for few seconds before quickly dissipating to some foamy sheet atop along with some lacing left , not that typical appearance for Stout.

Strong and aromatic coffee in a nose, it nicely mingles with notes of creamy milk, chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, licorice, and dark bread. Hop is there too with a hint of subtle earthiness, also there is a hint of soy sauce.

Sweetness upfront then breadiness, roasted and astringency, all of these flavors were derived from good malt quality. More robust astringency in the middle together with tastes of espresso, roasted coffee bean, chocolate, cocoa, creamy milk and licorice. Finish is lingered and quite messy with roasted and astringency traits as well as an unexpected note of soy sauce.

Light to medium body with a slightly sticky feeling through the palate, carbonation is not much and rather low but enough to carry the aroma, flavor and feel since the body is not that hefty, dry finish.

Complex and not that easy to drink, anyway, this brew is not for the faint heart or someone who want just to play safe. It is big and bold but same time hides alcohol very well, very good for sipping and as an end glass for drinking session.
