Sampled at THT June tasting. Dark ruby pour with a thin tan head. Prunes, raisins, dark fruit and dried fruit. Full bodied with a sticky-sweet aftertaste. Good beer.

Bottled the 28th of January this year (2013).

I guess this look slightly more reddish than the normal beer. Still that dark, slightly hazy sirupy look with slow and few visible carbonation. Head is very small and fades away quickly. Light tan foam.

Oh boy, I love how this beer transforms. Add cascade to it and it becomes something else, put it in wine barrels and it smells very different again.

Still a sweet beer but the red fruits are certainly dominating, red wine and as the other reviewer says almost like jam. But more like prune or strawberry jam (if you are from the Netherlands you know what I mean). That same sugary fruitiness. Smells very interesting.

Ah, this one is very sweet much like the standard version. Filled to the brim with sweet malts this one! But this one has a much more fruity flavour were the original is more caramel centred. There is indeed this hard to describe sensation from the barrel that cuts the sweetness somewhat (more on the aftertaste though). Tasty!

Thick, full and smooth mouthfeel. Low carbonation.

Overall a recommended beer, if you are not afraid of sweetness. Not as extremely sweet as Black Hole (Tequila BA) but still very sweet.
I recommed getting all three versions like I did to see the pretty big differences (even though the Cascade Dryhopped version is the most different).
