Nice to have #4 of this 12 month series.Pours into an imperial nonic a clear medium golden with a thin wispy white head that is gone in a flash, good clarity but a very thin head.Good complexity to the aromas with tropical fruits and "green" garden notes not to mention some light pine resin, some sugary sweet notes are present as well.Lightly carbonated and on the thinner side, not watery but pretty light.Again overripe tropical fruitiness from the hops take center stage on the palate along with some leafy green notes, light vidalia onion comes to mind as well, sugary sweetness is pretty big as well.Maybe my least favorite of the four but this is not a bad beer by any means.

Pours a pale yellow/orange color clear with a towering off white head that falls so slow and laces well.
Aroma is nice citrus grapefruit with some herbal backing, and some tropical fruit notes on a bready malt base.
Taste is nice and hoppy tropical fruits, nice pine resin notes some light herbal notes lots of hops on a light clean malt base that stays out of the way. While there are lots of hops present it is not overly bitter just hoppy. Nice and light plus favorable be a great summer brew.
Mouthfeel is light side of medium with lightly preppy carbonation.
Overall I would buy this one again if I could, I believe this might be better then there regular IPA at least its more drinkable.

A: Lovely clear amber colored beer under a white, fairly modest head that fades to a thin layer and ring on the surface.
S: Aroma is sweet buttery biscuity toast with a fun happy hop profile. Zesty, floral, fruity, melon, sweet apple. The centennial hops are recognizable but there's also hefty pile of something tropical.
T: Taste is very well balanced. Malty, sweet, bright, bitter, a smidge of spicy earthiness... All very clean and fresh. Melon, miscellaneous tropical, caramel doughy biscuit, fresh grains, something citrus-like.... The best one of the series I've had so far but I missed March.
M: A touch resiny and smoothly dry. Lighish body and very very very easy to drink.
I like!!!

Super clear orange color covered with a slim, creamy white head. Aromas of melon, apricot, and light grapefruit over a delightful toasted malt base. Fresh hoppy flavor: orange, melon, and grass mix with a pleasant biscuit presence. Trading somewhere between fruity and grassy greenness, leaving behind a firm bitterness and lingering resin. Medium bodied and oily with a dry finish. I missed out on March, but this crushes the first two installments. Very satisfying and so very drinkable. Well done...I'd love to see this year-round.

Appearance: Arrives a clear amber with a modest head that leaves a few strands
Smell: Floral tones of tropical fruit, melon and pine
Taste: Opens with a touch of the biscuit and a quick launch into the world of the hops; tropical fruit, melon and pine tones build into the finish with just a lingering touch of residual sweetness
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Amarillo and Simcoe, this month, bring a zesty bitterness; another nice IPA in the series

The beer is light golden and transparent with a half inch of white head. Aromas include floral hops, lemons, misc. citrus. Decent flavor. Hop forward, though there is a nice, sourdough malty body in support. Tangy and zesty with flowery hops. Light to medium in body with moderate sweetness. Overall, this was pretty tasty.

A: Pours a clear light to medium orangish copper in color with significant amounts of active visible carbonation quickly streaming from the bottom of the glass and some golden yellow + honey highlights. The beer has a half finger tall foamy creamy beige head that slowly reduces to a thick film covering the majority of the surface of the beer with a thin film covering the remainder and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of floral, herbal, and just a touch of tropical/passionfruit hops over the top of slightly sweet grainy malts.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of slightly sweet grainy malts. That is followed by moderate flavors of floral, herbal, and just a hint of tropical/passionfruit hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which lingers slightly.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin/watery with a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Definitely not a bad beer but I feel like these IPAs of the Month are trending in the wrong direction for me - I have liked each one of these slightly less than the one before...

Poured from a bomber into my Duval Tulip. Deep orange in color. Solid head retention. Not much in the nose. Piney hops but a bit underwhelming. Taste is okay as well. Much more of a sweeter, malty backbone than other IPAs I've had from Foothills. This is much more of an English style. Not what I expected. Mouthfeel was solid for the style. Overall, pretty disappointing. Glad I tried it but not my favorite from this brewery.

Poured from a bomber into a shaker pint, the beer is a bright, clear, caramel-gold coloring with a tall, frothy, foamy, clingy head. Aromas of very tart, sweet citrus blend forward, fresh cut grass, floral highlights, and a tangy hint of resin. Smells great! Flavors are grapefruit forward, with highlights of tangerine, lemon, and lime, as well as some grassy notes, pine highlights, and only the slightest hint of bitterness to help balance the palate. Smooth, mid-bodied, with some sharpness around the edges from the increased carbonation throughout the body. The carbonation also provides for an effervesced finish, with a fruity, slightly bitter aftertaste. Solid brew! These monthly IPAs are a lot of fun!
