Mosaic, oh mosaic! You make me so happy! Your dankness, your berryness, oh mosaic. This beer would only be better if it had a stronger hop presence and a better mouthfeel, but man this is great.

Pours into a nonic a dull lighter amber shade with a half to full finger white head that settles pretty slowly.Aromas are like a tropical punch, very citric and juicy, mild biscuit malts underneath.Starts out citrusy with a bit of sweet onion underneath, some sweet caramel malts come into play late in the finish.I like the tropical fruit edge with not much bitterness, seems smaller than what it is as well.

Appearance: Pours fairly clear, an amber color with a three finger head; splashy lacing lingers
Smell: Juicy and floral, bringing pineapple, pink grapefruit and mango
Taste: Bright and juicy, with the tropical fruit flavors that Mosaic hops bring dominating from the first; pineapple, pink grapefruit and mango, lead the parade, with some strawberry tones building; moderately bitter, through the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; sprightly
Overall: After diligently following all of the hop of the month series, I took an extended break but had to return when I learned that May 2016 was going to feature Mosaic hops; glad to revisit the series with this one

Hazy orange under a tall head that leaves behind rings of lace as it settles to a creamy layer. Aromas are green and grassy upfront, apricots and mangoes following, and some fruity yeast. Things are much improved in the flavor where the Mosaic characteristics are featured prominently: berries, oily dankness, pink grapefruit juice, light herbal spice. Medium bodied and pleasantly dry - pretty easy drinking, though the ripeness of the hoppy fruitiness wears me down a little after a while. The aroma made me think this would be like some of the more muddled "IPA of the Month" beers, but luckily it turned out to be a pretty bright, lively IPA that represents Mosaic rather well.

Nice slightly hazy orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is a lot of pine and mango, sweet malt. The taste is sightly sweet with a bit of mango and pepper. Very bitter at the end. Really solid beer.
