Bottle dated 4-10-17 into pint glass. Pours a deep reddish-brown with a tan head of fine bubbles. Initial impression is roasted nuts, chocolate, coffee, and biscuits. Very little hops bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish is smooth and slightly dry. Very easy to drink. My first offering from Foothills, and it's a good one. Nicely done.

This is a solid porter from a neighboring state. I suspect this one will finds its way back in my fridge soon.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle in a snifter via a friend from work---Thanks Randy!
This nice little roasty beast pours a deep blackish brown with a nice head of dark tan
foam that settles to a thick ring, thin sudsy pool, and features some very nice sudsy lacing.
Nose of chocolate malts, caramel, light coffee, and toffee with touches of char. Flavors lightly
exceed the nose with medium bitter cocoa tossed into dark coffee notes and toffee flavors
that are deeply roasted with a touch of cream. Solid mouth feel; medium full body,
medium carbonation that is lively, and a roasted finish that is touched by light herbal hop notes.

Overall this is a solid porter that is beefy and roasted. Nice. If I lived within their distribution
area I would purchase this often.

Cheers

From a bottle in Charleston, SC, pours as an opaque black with a thick lasting tan head. Taste is quite sweet; lots of malts. Some slight creaminess, but overall a bit thin body for a Porter. Just OK.
