This limited-release "Craft Happiness Series" IPA pours to a large, albeit brief-lived, creamy white head on a slightly hazy, very effervescent deep gold body; lacing is fair, consisting of very rotten bands and caverns. The nose is medium in intensity: bright fermented pineapple backed by more subtle cannabis and hints of grapefruit, with modest alcohol overtones. Up front, the palate is modestly bitter pineapple with the slightest hint of caramel; mid-palate a fairly assertive melon character emerges, as do hints of the florals from the nose. The malt rolls in; the caramel notes strengthen dramatically and become more prominent, a bit of bittersweet nuttiness appears, and the bready malt foundation shows through. Perceived bitterness is pushed back a bit, but not as much as one would expect given the maltiness; it remains categorically modest for the style. The finish is a fair hit of nutty citrus, and is fairly astringent, followed by the onset of a modest pine bitterness that lingers for awhile. Mouthfeel is commensurate with the light-medium body, and is quite astringent; the texture is slightly creamy, fairly slick and slightly peppery from the understated carbonation. Pours into an imperial nonic a chill hazed orange infused lighter golden with half finger sticky bone white head atop.Citrus and grassy hop aromas with citrus really standing out.Quite sharp upfront on the palate like grapefruit rind and aspirin, some fruitiness comes in late. Some sugary sweetness and biscuit malts make up the non-hop elements.A solid IPA although the sweetness is prevalent.

Had this on 2017-04-09 in Columbia, PA from a 22oz bottle.

A - Partially-hazy golden-orange with a 2-finger white head and nice lace.

S - Peach and mango. Mild floral and earthy spice. Pleasant but not real strong.

T - Peach, mango, orange, biscuit, mildly dank with a touch of pepper. The emphasis is on fruit. Some onion as it warms.
The bitterness is about like a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale with not much lingering after 10 seconds. I enjoyed the moderate residual sweetness.

M - Medium body and light-medium carbonation. On the creamy side.

O - A very balanced brew. Not over-the-top in aroma or flavor. Easy to drink with a flavor profile that agrees with me. I liked the restraint on the bitterness.

Pours a clear amber/orange with frothy white head. Smell is citrus forward and somewhat malty. Taste runs to the sweeter side with plenty of citrus, but it's a little out of balance. It reminds me of a fruited IPA in some ways, with an almost cloying sweetness and not enough bitterness. Relatively smooth mouthfeel if a little slick. Overall, a nice beer to try and I applaud their support of pet rescue.
