A new addition to their "Session" series. This one a Blonde Ale. Came out a cloudy dark gold with just a thin white head on top. No lace left behind. Can't get a lot from the scent. Some toasted grains and black pepper. Not what I expected.

The body is crisp with a smooth finish. Like the Session Brown, this beer is way overly-hopped and spicy. I was expecting a crisp, clean, refreshing ale as the style usually is characterized by. But this beer was heavy, bitter, and a little throat scalding on the peppery spiciness. I couldn't have more than one of these, that's for sure. It was a chore to get one down. Foothills' definition of "session ale" is far different than mine. This was different. I won't be revisiting this one, but others may like it. To each their own...
