This crisp, dry ale uses organic cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger brewed with real pumpkin and a blend of North American and British malts to give Mom’s pumpkin pie some serious competition. A fall favorite skillfully brewed by Foothills.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a copper/orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of pumpkin, some nutmeg. Taste is the same as the aroma, with the addition of some cinnamon. Balanced, neither the pumpkin or the spices are overpowering. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Appearance - pours bright copper color with thin off white head that lasts much longer than expected.
Aroma - Nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, allspice, clove.
Taste - The taste is the exact same as the nose but slightly muted. The flavors all seem a little watered down. There is not as much pumpkin in the taste mostly spices.
Feel - Pretty light, prickly carbonation little bite from the spices.
Overall - A decent pumpkin ale, hits the nose and taste but a little thin and watered down.

Amber/copper-colored, with a head that actually reminded me a little of orange soda. It was orange-y, light and airy, and very quickly disappeared. That last part is a little surprising given there's a decent amount of active carbonation. Very apparent pumpkin spice-y aroma, like a pie out of the oven. That doesn't carry over very strongly into the flavor. Very lager-y, with unimpressive malts dominating the profile. The mouthfeel is pretty nice, with that carbonation lending a sharpness. Overall, this beer is a bit of a letdown to me: it's a fine beer, but I feel like it underdelivered on what I wanted from a pumpkin.

Pours a clear golden with a bit of amber. Normal head volume and lacing, outstanding retention.
Rich outstanding nose of pumpkin, spices (nutmeg, clove, ginger) and light biscuit malt.
Light body with a texture slightly smoother than water. Superb carbonation with a nice effervescent middle and a prickly burst in the finish.
The flavor profile is very good, but is a bit light on intensity and is very well balanced. Spices appear in a blended fashion and never really separate. The middle hints at bitterness and provides a balancing biscuit. The finish is a slow light spicy fade.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a glass.
Look: Orange, honey-like color. One finger head.
Smell: Lots of cinnamon and clove up front. A little bit sweet smelling.
Taste: Cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg right away. Very little pumpkin, if any. I'm not getting much backbone from the malts or flavor depth. Once the pie spices fade, there is a leathery bitterness than hangs around.
Mouthfeel: Active carbonation on the tongue. Lighter than I expected from an autumn pumpkin ale. Thin?
Overall: This one is all about the spice. It's ok, but there are better.
