Served on tap at Foothills Brewing Company in Winston-Salem, NC.
A: Pours a clear dark golden yellow in color with some light hints of orange and moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall off-white head that reduces to a thin film covering the majority of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly bready malts with hints of honey start out the aroma with some light floral hints.
T: Upfront there are slightly bready malts with some honey sweetness. There are some light floral hop flavors that follow and very little bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: This beer was interesting but a little too sweet for me - I would have preferred a bit more hops to balance it out. Glad that I tried this one but I really prefer the hoppier offerings from this brewery.

A new one on tap at the brewpub. Came out a crystal clear dark amber with a half-inch off-white head on top. The nose is sweet with honeysuckle, floral tones, fresh bread. The mouthfeel is crisp and clean, making this quite drinkable. This was my last beer for the night, and it was gone before I knew it. Mellow flavors of buttered biscuits, faint floral hops, and a kiss of sweetness on the finish. The hops impart just the slightest bitterness to balance out the sweetness of this refreshing lager. I really liked this, and hope they continue to release this one, especially in the warmer months.
