750ml corked an caged 2017 bottle poured into tulip 19/7/18

A slight haze in a golden body, the tiniest little bubbles feed a finger of foam that sticks around for a couple sips leaving random lace. Peach, apricots, green apple, wet wood, apple cider vinegar, tangy candy, lemon, with a little funk rounding things out. Pin prick bubbles. slick in the mouth, still a little sugar in there she ain't bone dry, lingering sour citrus. This stuff is top notch, very drinkable, more sour then funk but I bet that could change with time. Not exactly what I would consider a " classic" Gueuze but definitely hit the spot on this hot humid day.......

Bright yellow clear pour with a large white head and thick lacing. Taste features super sour apricot, clementine and lemon juice in that order, mild wild funk and bright oak. Smells has more pungency, shoe leather and cheese funk, better than taste with this complexity added. Feel is acidic and sour, bright and light, not a ton of oak as the taste has.

2017 bottle consumed in 2021. Poured from just under fridge temp. Pours a murky orange with little head. The nose is phenomenal. Definitely on par, or better, than some of the best Beligan gueuze. Nose is peach, crab apples, leather, lemon, grass, sour funk, and wet oak. The taste is outstanding. Very funky. Almost mouth-puckering sourness. Big citrus notes - orange, lemon, a bit of grapefruit. Sour apples, wet grass, leather, wheat, sour patch kids, wet oak, wet soil. The taste is so intense and complex. This is a truly amazing beer. Finish is long and sour. Leaves a taste of peach skin in the mouth, along with a touch of mango. I wish I had another bottle!

Got in a BIF from TheDoctor. 750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 7/12/2016. Pours lightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Nice spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, apricot, papaya, guava, berries, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, oak, leather, cork, wet wood, musty funk, wheat, cracker, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, peppercorn, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, oak barrels, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, apricot, papaya, guava, berries, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, oak, leather, cork, wet wood, musty funk, wheat, cracker, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, peppercorn, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tart/sourness, wine tang, and light yeast/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, apricot, papaya, guava, berries, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, oak, leather, cork, wet wood, musty funk, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light pepper/vanilla/vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, oak barrels, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness and tangy/spicy balance; with minimal puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from carbonation, tart/sourness, and lingering tangy/spiciness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/acidic, and fairly crisp/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 5.5%. Overall this is an amazing gueuze style! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, oak barrels, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink with the moderately increasing acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish, not overly lactic. Amazingly well rounded barnyard funky Brett/Bacteria complexity, oak presence, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. Really surprised me. Just as amazing or better than many of the authentic classic Belgian versions available.

Solid new world gueuze with hints of cantilion and tilquin with an American wild sour twist. Really enjoyed this. A little hint of sick when cold but opens up with a bit of time.

Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch white head over a fairly bright body with no lacing. The head doesn't disappear right away and down to a ring in ten minutes or so. Wonderful nose of funk, citrus, green apple, apple cider vinegar, and oak. Taste mirrors nose almost exactly with a nice tart apple finish. Great feel and overall another winner from our friends up in Quebec. Cheers!

Freshly pressed apples, sulfur, ash, limestone, sourdough, and plum. It's unfair how incredible this bottle is. Seek it; chase it, and enjoy with friends. The sharply filtered, golden hues will seduce you, but the aromas and flavor profile will reel you in.

Aged around 1 year : Slightly hazy golden color with lots of activity. Gets a bit cloudy as the yeast is poured. Light foamy white 1 finger head, lasting around 2 minutes, with not much legs but pretty strong lacing, moderate swirl reaction. Flavors of cranberries, green apples, peach, sweet grains dominant wheat, wild yeast, floral hops. Slick oily medium to full body with extra crispy carbonation. Strong sour finish of tart fruits, heavily funky and vinous, yet it ends clean on the tongue. Soft straw and floral notes with some cheese and a hint of wood. Great balance here because I don't specially like sours yet this one I can easily enjoy as an appetizer. I don't know if it aged well cause the sourness slightly hits the throat but it's bearable. Gets quite sharp and interesting as more yeast is poured, producing a vegetal feel. Good complexity, passable freshness, though quite warming. Overall excellent quality craft.

Nice blend of sour beers. Slight citrus on the nose with apple cider vinegar notes. Flavour is somewhat light but very drinkable. Brett is barely present but would probably develop with more time
