My first venture in to Ann Arbor found me at Grizzly Peak. You're typical brew-pub, with a little more flair and laid back feeling that you'd expect. The beers on tap were very good, ranging from typical IPA and Red offerings, to more interesting and character-filled hefe's and ESB's. The food was rather good, but very overpriced, as I ordered the Mac & Cheese, and I will admit it was one of the best Mac & Cheese dishes I have ever had, but at a whopping 12 dollars for little more than a medium sized plate of it, I must say I was very displeased. The beer was quite good, I had a pint of 5 different types and found each to be satisfying and unique in their own way. The atmosphere was nice, rather woody and dark, like an English Pub of sorts. Service was good, quick with food and somewhat knowledgable about the beers on tap. I'd go back but not before hitting Leopold Bros. and any other beer offerings Ann Arbor has.

Another cool spot on the streets of Ann Arbor. I wish they had a better beer selection. Wasn't impressed with their in house IPA or their Sour Wheat Ale either. Cool outdoor patio area we were able to bring our dogs and sit under the sun. They even have a doggy treat menu.

This was like a second home to me, and I can't say enough good things about the staff here. Great food and a menu that changes often to go with a hand full of great beers. Always have a couple casks conditioned beers available and they have rotating beers probably every week if not every couple of days.

The food we didn't really eat, we just had an appetizer which were soft pretzels, the pretzels were nice and soft but the sauce was not good at all but luckily their Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard saved it, the beer selection was small but not too bad though. I had a Bear Paw Porter which was really good it had hints of Roasted Coffee beans and Hazelnut I then had the County Cork Irish Stout. This is a very watered down version of a Stout. It was not good in fact I don't even want to finish hut I don't waste beer. The service was quiet but they brought our food and beer on a timely manner. Don't know if I would go here again because the beer didn't meet my standards.
