After a trip up north to visit relatives in Detroit I had to stop off in Ann Arbor for a chance to unwind. That place was the Grizzly Peak brewing Company.

I had never been there before but the beer selection and food menu was very enticing to this weary traveler. We sat outside on the sidewalk on a beautiful sunny day. Never went inside so can't say much about the atmosphere.

Service was friendly and informative.

The beer list was about nine beers deep. I had the IPA which had very strong butter notes to it...but then again, so did the pale ale. It was an average IPA in my opinion. I also had the ESB on cask which was very good. They also had a hefe on cask as well.

The food was incredible. I had the fish and chips. They used walleye in place of cod or some other plain fish and was maybe the best fish and chips I've ever had. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich. ˆ had a bite and weas blown away by the taste.

Prices were on par with other reataurants and brew pubs in AA. But if you want great food, then certainly check it out. The beer...average at best.

Another cool spot on the streets of Ann Arbor. I wish they had a better beer selection. Wasn't impressed with their in house IPA or their Sour Wheat Ale either. Cool outdoor patio area we were able to bring our dogs and sit under the sun. They even have a doggy treat menu.

This was like a second home to me, and I can't say enough good things about the staff here. Great food and a menu that changes often to go with a hand full of great beers. Always have a couple casks conditioned beers available and they have rotating beers probably every week if not every couple of days.

The food we didn't really eat, we just had an appetizer which were soft pretzels, the pretzels were nice and soft but the sauce was not good at all but luckily their Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard saved it, the beer selection was small but not too bad though. I had a Bear Paw Porter which was really good it had hints of Roasted Coffee beans and Hazelnut I then had the County Cork Irish Stout. This is a very watered down version of a Stout. It was not good in fact I don't even want to finish hut I don't waste beer. The service was quiet but they brought our food and beer on a timely manner. Don't know if I would go here again because the beer didn't meet my standards.
