This is one of the most common beers around where i live, sold in all supermarkets both in cans (0,5 and 0,33) and bottles (0,33)
and served on tap some places.
This beer is a little bit sweeter than most light lagers, and works well as a refreshing thirst quencher, and it is an exelent refreshment to bring to a sauna. But exept for being a little sweeter than most light lagers, it is still pretty tasteless, and don't serve much other qualities than mentioned, a decent and a pretty cheap beer, easily availible here.

Bottle 0.33L.
Pale yellow body, with a small white head, fully diminishing with virtually no lacing.
Light hoppy aroma.
Light bitter flavour with some faint malty notes: somehow a watery flavour.
Very light body with a watery texture; medium carbonation.

February 2003: Slightly lighter golden colour than Mack Pilsner, marginally darker than Mack Isbjørn. Moderate head, standard pils aroma. Light bodied, slightly metallic bitterness.

A: two finger white head on a crystal clear bright golden body. decent retention and very nice lacing.

S: fairly pungent grain and pale malts with touch of honey and lemon.

T: simple and plain but not off putting. slightly musty grains and pale malts balanced by a honey sweetness with a mild bitter note late in the finish.

M: light body and lighter side of moderate carbonation, smooth.

Overall: this is one of the best I have had from this genre. very drinkable and smooth for the style.

A - Pours with a vigorous, two finger head of white foam on top of a clear, golden body. The head settles slowly and leaves nice lace.

S - Herbal hops with some grainy pilsner character.

T - Smooth, dry malt up front with a husky character. Herbal hops come out in the middle and the beer finishes with more dry malt and light bitterness.

M - Medium body, moderate carbonation, and a balanced finish.

D - This is one of those rare Euro pale lagers that almost qualifies as a pilsner. The malt character is very dry and kind of weak for a pils, but decent for a lager while the hop character is the dominant flavor characteristic. Pretty drinkable.

Pours a two finger white head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Clear amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Skunky nose. Flavor is hoppy with bitter skunky finish. 39 NOK ~ $7.80 for a 330ml blue bottle apparently brewed just for the Hurtigruten cruise ship. From my notes - 7/14/2008.
