Bottle picked up at the 3rd Grrrz release on October 4, 2015 at Bullfrog Brewery in Williamsport, PA.

This one pours a light purplish/orange-ish, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing. Just a tiny bit hazy.

This one smells really nice and bracing, a good amount of funk and oak, as you'd expect with Grrrz, with a great but not overwhelming level of plum. Just from the aroma, it seems like plum is a really natural choice with the Grrrz base.

This strikes a really nice balanace between fruit and funk. The plumminess doesn't overwhelm the really nice aspects of the base, so we get some lemony and earthy funk, a moderate (4/10) level of tartness and sourness, and some really nice tangy, sweet and sour plum. This is just a super enjoyable beer all around.

This is medium bodied, with a fairly juicy mouthfeel, and a moderate level of carbonation. Huge level of drinkability, I downed half a 750 in no time at all.

This is up there overall with the best variants in this series, just excellent.

I enjoyed this at Hunger N Thirst served chilled in a snifter.

The color is a rosy gold with slight red hue with thin white head no lace. The smell is sour and funky foremost with light plum-stone fruit type aroma. The feel is tangy juicy and sour with fruity funky quality with slight phenolic tinge

The taste while tangy with some plum juiciness doesn't have a very distinctly plum flavor it is sour which reminds me of plum that is less than fully ripe with slight funk and hint of citrus type astringent almost puckering taste with a dry finish. Overall I enjoyed this -a wonderful sour beer which is drinkable with slight acidity but still pleasurable enough for repeat tastes.

Bottle shared by Frank. Plum pours out a light murky red/light purple color with not a whole lot of bubbles at this young stage. Smell is full of ripe plum, berry, light oak, faint malt scent. Taste is is plum and berry up front, mixed in with minerals and oak and a swift tart sting on the back with the fruity aftertaste. Not quite developed yet, but time will get this GRRRZ up there. A semi light body with soft carb and a mild twang in the mouth. Will revisit this rating rating when bottles are released.

750 mL bottle. Hazy orange. Medium white head and collar. Nice plum aroma. Very distinct plum. Oak, some pale malts. Excellent. Taste doesn't quite live up, but still excellent. Sour stone fruits. Pale malt. A little sweet. Oak and some astringency. Plum takes over in the back end. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Taste is excellent, but the nose is remarkable.

750ml corked and caged bottle into a Grrrz teku. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a foamy, .5 finger powder white head with good retention. Beer is a slightly cloudy orange-copper with stringy and sparse lace with good stick. Solid.

Nose is slightly funky. Plum presence is prominent and displays as a light sweet and tartness. Brett and oak is apparent with a bright spritziness floating in the background. Makes my mouth water!

Opens with a huge Brett presence. Some plastic, cobwebs and a bit of nail polish. Light fruity tartness in the middle with a plum flesh sweetness towards the middle and back. A bit of woodiness mixed with a light, yeasty bitterness. Tart in the finish and aftertaste with plenty of plum presence. Pretty good!

Light bodied with ample carbonation. Prickly and sparkling on the palate and goes down dry and a little puckering. Accented finish with a dry, filmy finish. Really good.

This beer has real potential but as is, it needs a little time to clean up. Plastic-y presence is a bit too prominent and there's an awkward light bitterness that just doesn't work. I'm excited to see what this turns into!

Pour is hazed orangish amber with a tight white head. Nose is strong plum, very bright fruit, faint dusty brett. Flavor is really strong plum, a lot like apricot, light brett, super fruity, very tasty, lambic married well with fruit. Well carbonated, soft feel, light body.

Served on-tap at Hunger N Thirst during their second Bullfrog Sour event. Pours hazy Amber / copper orange with a half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a bubbly ring around the edge of the glass, leaving small streaks of lace on the sides of the glass.

Smells of plum skin and some pulp, mild horse blanket funk and wet basement, minimal to light sweetness, slightest hint of lactic sourness, faint woody oak and base pale malt. Taste is very similar with plenty of plum up front slowly being joined by the must and funk and a bit more sweetness than the nose would imply. It is more tart than sour and the pale malt backing helps even it out a bit. The fruity, dry feel is not really a deterrent and it is surprisingly easy to consume.

Overall a nice plum "lambic." It packs plenty of plum and yet it is still quite drinkable. Really looking forward to getting some bottles of this one.

I thought this was extremely one-dimensional with its sourness. No real oak or complexity like other ones in the series. Far more sour than funky.
