Bottle shared by Bmoyer0301 with him and stakem. Another fine Bullfrog sour...
A- A nice ruddy brown with a ruby hue. A nice and smooth stream of bubbles revealing a good amount of carb lead up to a thin white head. A great looking beer. Man The Bullfrog brews some art.
S- A sharp and pleasant lactic sourness right away greet me. As it warms up I continue to indulge in the lactic sourness and can pick up a sweet aroma of oak, vanilla bean and some earthy, must undertones. Very pleasing and subtle.
T- Wow! A great opening of mustiness, sharp acidity and lactic sourness. As it warms the finish is a quick snap of lactic sourness with heavy wood and vanilla hints. Very nice and tasty.
M- A great coating and syrupy feel are welcomed, but then you are hit by the puckering sour and tingly carb to push all the flavors around. A sharp acidity and a faint tartness are also provide a great depth and balance.
D- Yes sir! the acidity is sharp, but low and not overpowering. The always welcomed lactic sourness is divine and well integrated with the vanilla and oak undertones. The carb is just right and provides for a great experience.
Another solid offering from The Bullfrog. Keep them sours coming!

Large shared bottle (thanks Dan).
Pours hazy reddish-brown with a decent head.
Funky and tart aroma with a faint hint of vinegar.
Flavor, as expected, much better than the aroma suggests. Tart , early puckering, with a multitude of soft, ripe fruit notes. Approaches 4.25.
Near medium body with medium carbonation.

Review from notes
Deep mahogany with garnet hues, quite clear, whitish head that left some bubbles on the glass. Lots of sour cherry, oak, plums, and a bit of sherry as well, indicating its oxidation content. Sweet and sour in the front, presenting a cornucopia of dark fruits and berries, which relays to a farmhouse funkiness and musty slabs of wood. Finishes tart and herbal. Very delicate and a pleasure to drink.
