Large shared bottle (thanks Dan).
Pours hazy reddish-brown with a decent head.
Funky and tart aroma with a faint hint of vinegar.
Flavor, as expected, much better than the aroma suggests. Tart , early puckering, with a multitude of soft, ripe fruit notes. Approaches 4.25.
Near medium body with medium carbonation.

Review from notes
Deep mahogany with garnet hues, quite clear, whitish head that left some bubbles on the glass. Lots of sour cherry, oak, plums, and a bit of sherry as well, indicating its oxidation content. Sweet and sour in the front, presenting a cornucopia of dark fruits and berries, which relays to a farmhouse funkiness and musty slabs of wood. Finishes tart and herbal. Very delicate and a pleasure to drink.
