Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a white head. In the aroma, clove notes and banana skins. In the taste, banana skins, clove like spice, and some wheat like notes. A small spice bite and a lighter bodied mouthfeel, with a dry banana skin flavor in the aftertaste. Dryer banana and wheaty notes, decent nonetheless.

Draft offering at the source. This was described on the menu as a saison fermented with Brett and steeped with bananas. I knew I had to try it because it sounded like a train wreck. I was pleasantly surprised at just how enjoyable this was.
It appears a pale clouded yellow color with a white cap about a finger strong that fades leaving some sudsy lacing effect.
The smell includes notes of clove along a mild fruity citrus zest quality like lemon tht blends into more of an orange scent. Wheat and a fresh grain aspect comes out more as it warms up.
The flavor is tart with lemon and wheat immediately coming into play. A minor cereal sweetness with pepper and clove spicing. A mild herbal hop bitterness gets lightly grassy across the back. Only once warm does the banana come forward to make itself known.
This is a light bodied brew with a modest level of carbonation. A crushable and easy drinking brew that I was really taken back by. The banana is subtle enough to be noted and enjoyable with a very natural feel to it that really works with the saison base and mild brett tartness.
