Golden pour with orange hues as a massive, foamy white head erupts from the body with huge carbonation and frothy top layer, the lively carbonation continues throughout the beer, while a sticky white lacing clings to the glass.
Pine and straw-like hops hit the nose first followed by citrus fruits, sour apples, and yeast.
This beer has an interesting palate in that the first sip gives you a big variety of character including, yeast, fruity esters, and earthy hop bitterness. Some spiciness develops as it warms and the fruits become more apparent including sour apple and citrus fruit.
Nice dry finish preceded by medium to high carbonation and a medium body.
Good brew and a decent example of the style. Nice flavor character and pretty well put together. Worth a try for certain.

Poured into a Riedel tulip. The pour kicks up a pretty ridiculous fluffy near-white head. The liquid is a cloudy pale orange with lots of bubbles.
Aroma is super fruity - lots of citrus, dried lemons, cardamom, etc. Classic saison aroma with some extra citrus.
Taste is cardamom, lemons, bread, and lots of other little flavors that I can't really identify. Nice and complex. Aftertaste is slightly funky, with bread and citrus coming out some more.
Mouthfeel is wonderfully soft and light-bodied, with tons of carbonation.
Overall, really great saison - nothing radically departing from classic saison attributes, but executed perfectly!

My wife sure knows how to pick 'em. Served in a snifter on Mother's Day.
A: A cloudy golden. Very little head. Light lacing. Lots of sediment in the bottom of the glass.
S: Apricots, Belgian yeast. A bit of cloves and banana.
T: Fruity. Mangos. A beer/champagne hybrid. Sparkling. Yeasty. A tad sour. A dry, hoppy finish. The longer it sits, the smoother the taste.
M: Light to medium with low carbonation.
O: A rustic, old world taste; like a real ale. Glad I saved it for a nice occasion.

A - Pours a golden orange with a 2 finger white head. No real lacing and the head dissipated quickly.
S - Pears, green grapes and may'be some bready/malty characteristics.
T - It's sweet and tart at the same time. Think citrus fruits along with lemon tartness. Nothing really dominates as it's a great meddling of flavors.
M - Light body along with light carbonation. It's effervescent and dry.
O - This bottle must have been stored properly because it seems to be peaking. I could see how another 6-12mths could push this one past its prime. It's very enjoyable if you love a citrusy, almost funky saison that borders on the sweet side.

Served in a stemless globe.
Thanks to hannydawg for sharing this bottle!
Sure, it's been a few years, but we'll see how this stuff is doing regardless. It pours a cloudy golden amber topped by a finger of off-white foam. The nose comprises dry wheat, light horse-blanket-y funk, clove, banana peel, light orange peel, and light cardamom. The taste brings in more of the same, along with an extra sprinkling of cinnamon. A nice touch. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, a surprisingly solid saison, one I wouldn't mind revisiting again just to see if it continues to come up strong.

Review from notes
Poured a murky orange with 2.5 fingers of white soapy head that receded down to a thin layer. This beer was a lot more opaque than I was anticipating...
Smells very enticing! Great notes of tropical fruit and maybe a hint of peach with some musty barnyard funk and a solid belgian yeast backbone. Somehow it still smells better... but in a good way
Tropical must barnyard fruit with a very delicious Belgian yeast aftertaste. A little on the sweet side, but still tasty.
Medium to light body with just the right amount of carbonation. Drying aftertaste
Overall, a very tasty beer. Lacked some bitterness in my opinion but it hit the nail on the head in all the other areas. Great beer to celebrate 25 years
