This was an ok beer. Once again supporting the local economy by buying my local beers(semi local at least).

Appearance- orange, cloudy

Smell- wheat malt

Taste- malty

Mouthfeel- light bodied

Drinkability- It was pretty good. I would have it again. I'm not rushing out to get it but it is good.

12 oz bottle poured into a pilsner - fridge - 2009

Appearance: Pours a relatively transparent golden yellow that turns into orange in some places. A 2.5" white head forms and makes it's own craterous surface. Great retention is shown with some spongy lace still clinging to the glass.

Smell: Wheat malt is dominant, with a buttery cream flavor involved as well. Some floral aromas but it pretty much ends there.

Taste: A light malt flavor is way out in front with some mineral tones behind it. The buttery flavor doesn't mimic the aroma.

Mouthfeel: Carbonated highly, yeasty and lots of wheat. Alcohol is slight, but there's enough to make it out of the ordinary.

Drinkability: A very nice brew that lacks the up front banana and clove that we all want. Not bad, though.

look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 3 | overall: 3.5

Appearance: Poured a cloudy, harvest wheat (it's too orange to be straw yellow and too yellow to be orange). Two fingers of thick foam developed and dissipated to a thin lacing.

Smell: It's more hoppy and ale-like than I expected of a wheat. Citrus scents of orange and lemon dominate, which gives it much more of an amber quality. It definitely lacks the complexity I'm accustomed to with wheat brews.

Taste: Reminiscent of the smell, but much less complex and potent. There's not much more to say -- it's that disappointing.

Drinkability: It's not that impressive -- not your typical wheat. It certainly lives up to the "American" in the American Wheat Ale style. However, it's not offensive, and is smooth drinking.

pours a hazy golden yellow with a medium white head, and good lacing.

smell is funky, wheat, and grain.

taste is creamy and chewy, wheat, and something a bit strange in the background, ends thick yet dry.

overall very different from your normal wheat beer.

Poured into the Sam Adams glass.

A - Hazy straw colored some orange hints and a off-white head about one finger tall, that is very dense. Small bubbles rise from the bottom of the glass quickly.

S - Yeast is present and some mild fruits as well. Some nuts and some earthy, floral hops are mildly present as well.

T - Very nice flavor balance. Starts with some malts and some wheat that extends towards the middle. Some bready and nutty mild nutty tones appear in the middle as well. It finishes crisp with some mild hop bitterness and dryness. Leaves a nice yeasty aftertaste.

M - Good CO2, light bodied but good array of flavors.

D - Very refreshing, low ABV equals something extremely drinkable.

Appearance: Pours a golden wheat color, small white head.

Smell: Malt and wheat aroma with minor hints of fruit.

Taste: Bready and semi-sweet; with some orange or apricot. Light to medium-bodied. Decent aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Refreshing, maybe slightly watery.

Drinkability: Fair to decent. I'd do it again.

Well, I suppose it's what one expects from an American Wheat. From a Southern State.

The complexity is really not there. It lacks the banana and clove from a good German Hefe, and it lacks the citrus hop twinge from something like an Oberon. It's clean, definitely. No off flavors here, and quite quaffable. Just not too exciting for us Beer Geeks.

But give this to someone looking for a Widmer of a Blue Moon and they might come over to our side.

Average color for unfiltered wheat beer. Nothing remarkable in the flavor department. Not complex, but not terrible. Beyond the wheaty and pleasant finish, not much flavor at all. Perhaps on tap and very VERY cold would have been a better experience.

A cloudy orangish beer with only wispy foam floating around. Some fruit in the nose with a little spicy hops.

Solid wheat character on the palate--a little chewy with some pleasant prickliness. The flavor starts out a little fruity, a twang in the center, ending with a little spice. Pretty standard stuff here.

Pours a lightly hazed yellow-orange color with a smallish head of white foam. Nose is bright, fresh citrus - lemon and tangerines - with a bit of wheat and peach. Quite light and dry on the tongue, with a pronounced husky grain flavour and something resembling those fuzzy peach gummy candies. Some orangey hops and wheaty twang finish this off. Carbonation is quite hard. Interesting, tasty brew suitable for summer drinking.

Pours a murky yellow-brown with a white head.

The aroma is of wheat, fruit, spices, and bubblegum.

Thin bodied with a candied flavor of fruit and bubblegum. Wheat comes through on the finish. Not overly sweet, but not overly flavorful.

Drinkable, but nothing I'd reach for.

Bought for a sunny day out in the yard weeding and gardening.

Pours a cloudy banana yellow with some head and ring around the collar.

Smells somewhat yeasty and wheaty, but a little bland. This needs some hamburger helper.

Taste is good for a sweating guy working on weeds, but just average.

If this were a person, it would be a mid level human resources clerk. Just getting by, picking up their check, numb and happy.

A cloudy golden color pour with about two fingers of white head, medium to heavy carbonation. Aroma is on the light side a little wheaty, yeasty, with mild citrus notes. Flavor of dry wheat, doughy yeast, lemon, lime, and maybe some peach, and more light malty sweetness, and lemon. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body, this would be quite sessionable, I would buy this again.

I had high expections for this beer but alas, it left me wanting more.

The beer looked good. Poured well. Had a nice clean white head.

But the taste is lacking. Even the smell is not up to par. It just doesn't have much taste, it's a crisp taste, kinda like pears, but there is not much umph.

Pours a nice cloudy yellow color, nice carbonation, nice one-finger foamy white head, with some nice sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, grassy, with some pears. The taste is malty, sweet, grassy, fruity. Medium body. Drinkable, not too bad.

Really cloudy yellow body with some darker orange tones floating around. About a finger of very white head. Some retention, but not any lacing here.

A lot of malted wheat comes through in the aroma.

Taste is the same, malted wheat stars and is by far the strongest flavor. However, a touch of pepper flavor and a hint of lemon in the finish round this one out.

Mouthfeel is actually great. It has that creaminess that good wheats strive for.

Pretty drinkable beer, not bad overall.

Pale/golden in color with a decent looking head. Smells like wheat/grains with a bit of hoppage in the nose. The taste is very reminiscent of a lemon peel with a bit of bitterness at the end. This is very well carbonated and is pretty light on the palate. This is the best installment of the style that I have had to this point. I can see it being pretty darn drinkable on a hot summer day.

Got this at J's Mart Tupelo, bottled

Appearance: cloudy, please swirl the bottle halfway through pouring it. Darker then the average wheat beer.

Smell:Pretty good for a wheat beer, not the wet sock smell some wheat beers have. Wheaty, barely any lemon/citrus scent.

Taste: I like this beer! Not bitter, no nasty (there is again, wet socks!) aftertaste, pretty crisp!

Mouthfeel: crisp, no dry feeling afterwards, very refreshing

Drinkability: I am really glad we can finally get this beer here in town, better then the average wheatbeer, excellent to introduce people to Northcoast brewery also

Poured a hazy yellow with thin white head. Smelled fairly sweet with good amounts of wheat and yest. Tasted sweet with a quick finish. This is a light bodied beer with decent drinkability. I was fairly disappointed in this beer. While there isn't anything wrong with it I was just expecting more and was a little disappointed, with that being said I could see how some people will find this to be a nice summer beer.

Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a nice white head that stays a while. Smells of wheat. Tastes of thin wheat flavors, a lighter beer with background citrus taste, lemon particularly. Mouthfeel was good just as in any other wheat beer, smooth and easy to drink. Nothing stood out about this beer but is wasn't bad...

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Poured cloudy yellow/gold with a light form and small bubbles.

Smells of lemon/citrus, wheat and yeast. The lemon comes through in the taste, and there are tangy wheaty notes throughout. Clean, crisp taste with minimal hop bitterness on the finish.

A highly drinkable beer - sure I had mine in the completely wrong season, but I could easily see having a bunch of these in a bucket of ice on a summer day - very refreshing.

Presentation: 12oz short brown capped, no freshness date.

Appearance: Cloudy pale straw in color with a frothy dense white head that dies down quickly. A swirling cloudiness remains while drinking it.

Smell: Mellow fruit and yeast with a floral aroma.

Taste: Very good... crisp with sweet taste, light fruit, tartness and a light hop bitterness.

Notes: Definitely one of the best wheats I have ever tasted.

A - Poured from a bottle into a weizen glass. Pours a hazy goldenrod with blond highlights and a white head.

S - Sweet and sugary wheat. White bread.

T - Akin to the aroma. Sweet, wheaty, really subdued spice and citrus, but not enough to offset the sweetness.

M - Mouthfeel is good, thin/medium bodied with a fair amount of carbonation.

Poured a hazy, dirty golden color with decent white head that dissipated to a thin white film along the top. Aroma was of wheat, grain. Taste was also wheaty, but of little else. Mouthfeel was okay. I was not impressed with this beer at all, which coming from North Coast surprises me. Maybe I got an old one.

The yellow-orange hue is light enough for the cloudiness to show fully, looks warm even if it's icy cold. Very pretty white head comprised of tiny bubbles, disappears swiftly leaving residue around the rims. Clean, if heavy, nose of grain, wheat, wild yeasts with an interesting saline edge, allusion to apricot and peach pits, not especially citrusy, sheer weight sticks around in your nostrils longer than the scents. Medium-bodied, as in the nose attains freshness in spite of its weight and relative lack of movement. Hint of orange rind, otherwise it's the grain, hops, wheat to keep things more tart than not. Above average carbonation really works to lift things off the tongue. Admirably, doesn't leave much behind after you swallow, not out to over-impress. Could drink a lot. Just probably not remember it a week later.
