Smells slightly aged, not very appealing. Taste doesn't follow the aroma, sweet malts, snappy hop finish. Nothing too much else to speak of. Good ale.

Very dense and small bubbled, off-white head. Lovely, clear medium orange a lot of amber highlights, for the appearance. Heavily caramelized malt, juicy fruit gum, mixed tropical fruit, with a hint of mixed dried flowers, and a hint of allspice, for the aroma. Medium barley malt with a big flowery bite, makes up the taste. Medium bodied.

On tap at the brewery's taproom in Fort Bragg, CA.
Appearance. Poured with an exceptionally clear amber colored body covered by an exceptional off-white head.
Near equal balance of hops and grains in the aroma with a flavor that's more hop forward.

12oz bottle. Label has the date code of '31120911'. Purchased at the North Coast store in Fort Bragg.
Clear, medium amber colored body. One finger of off white head. Leaves behind partial rings of lacing.
Aroma of toasted bread malts and floral hops with a bit of spice.
Taste has sharp caramel malts that also expresses toasted bread. Spice and floral flavors from the hops. Has a definite bitter note at the end, but sweet before that. Piney hops in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel, with a smooth texture. Slight metallic note. Very good carbonation.
Smooth and sharp are both included in the experience.

Pours a clear copper color with a nice, thick foam head.
Aroma is malty with a little hops in the background.
Taste is very well balanced between the malt and hops, with a nice little touch of caramel. A clean, crisp finish.
This is quite refreshing and delicious.
