Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers’ art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends, and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries.
PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that produce a floral nose, a full fruity flavor, and a clean finish.

Look: Hazy straw with a with low white head.
Smell: Sweet fruit and spices blend together with a faint touch of yeast.
Taste: A tart cherry flavor is very noticeable. Grassy and floral. Yeast is quite pronounced in the aftertaste.
Feel: Outstanding. Medium in the mouth.
Overall: This is a great brew, so glad I picked up a four pack.

This beer is so much better than Duvel. Maybe the yeast strain(s) is less bacterial so to speak. American Belgian beers tend to be cleaner than their Belgian OGs. But the Belgian yeast complexity and deliciousness comes through in spades in this beer. And it goes down so easy. Hops don’t get in the way of the yeast and malt like so many ridiculously popular beers. Thanks North Coast.

A Belgian Bullseye. Well balanced between spicy and fruity high notes. Avoids being cloyingly sweet, while retaining classic character of a golden ale. Highly recommended.

12oz bottle with no visible date on the label or bottle.
1 finger white head with decent retention, settles in at a full, thin cap. Glowing yellow-gold body with a chill haze.
Fruit filled bouquet, apricot, peach, yeast spice and floral. Smells bright and appealing.
Sweet fruit nectar (stone fruit dominant) balanced by a zingy hint of citrus and yeast. Tasty.
Medium plus body and a full mouthfeel - has some weight. Flavorful brew with a semi-sweet finish.
Outstanding.

From a bottle. Cloudy light amber color with a white lacing. Classic Belgian yeast aroma. Medium body with strong carbonation. Tastes of wheat and orange with a light honey note. Really well done and comparable with Belgian versions of the style.

Delicious. Perfect balance between sweet and bitter, in my opinion. Nicely carbonated. Drinkable, refreshing, not too heavy, not too light. Definitely one of my favorites!

Appearance:
Clear light golden color. No head or lacing.
Aroma:
Sweet melons. Floral.
Taste:
Honeyed peaches. Banana. Wheat.
Mouthfeel:
Smooth. Mild viscosity. Lightly effervescent. Nice.
Overall:
Good stuff. Real drinkable liquid, especially at 7.6%.
Not sure if it’s a sipper or a slammer. Kinda sweet floral flavors like a cider.

Orange color. Weak head. Smells almost of apple juice. Taste is fairly sweet and mild. Fruity. No spice. Limited hop bitterness. Almost flat feel. basic and unremarkable for a Belgian strong pale.
