Pours clear golden beer with liquid off-white head, receding to some laces. Smell of grains, taste of grains, chalk, cardboard, moderate bitterness in the finish, light body and soft carbonation. Classic czech desitka, simple and quaffable, but, of course, not complex.

Served cool from 500ml bottle into pilsner mug.

L) Medium-amber colour, clear, lots of small bubbles racing up. Thin bubbly white head.

S) Sweet pilsner malt.

T) Fresh pilsner malt and very light hop flavours. Barely any bitterness to speak of. Not a lot there, but yet extremely drinkable.

F) As per the style, light and quite fizzy.

O) A decent lager, drink it cold and you can chug away, enjoy it and not think too hard about it.
