From the bottle: “A robust American brown ale made with biscuit and Belgian malts balanced with Bravo and Galaxy hops. This ale is deceptively smooth, yet heavy like a brick, made for the metal head in us all, but especially for the friends of the END”

A: Clear light brown with a dirty white head that’s short-lived but easily revived.
S: Lots of nutty brown malt and maybe a bit of chocolate. Reminds me a bit of Surly’s brown ale, Bender (which also uses Belgian malts).
T: Opens sweet, with both nutty and bready malt flavors as well as some caramel/toffee then transitions to bitter and spicy hop flavors. Finishes bone dry with a bit of an off flavor (I use “plastic”) showing up late. While the bittering hops are readily apparent, I don’t pick up on any Galaxy fruityness.
M: Body is medium/light with plenty of carbonation.

Lots to like here (great malt bill) with a few off flavors as well. Glad to have tried it – thanks W.
