A - Pours a hazy light golden, almost dull blonde colour. Good carbonation and a soapy one finger white head. Good spatterings of lace and a good half finger retention.

S - Corny and soapy with some honey.

T - Boozy, corn, honey, some grass. Quite sweet.

M - Strong carbonation, good medium to full body, and a sweet, sorta cloying sweet finish with some grass.

O/D - This is pretty much a super strong adjunct lager to me. There is no in your face hop presence and the corny note just attacks you too much. Not worth the $4.

A:
Pours a bright hazy gold-yellow with two fingers of pristine white cream that goes down to a healthy little cap that is easily roused. Good retention; bits of swooping lacing. (4)

S:
Grassy, pils-y. Toasted malt, white pepper, fresh cut grass, herbs, warm dough, some yeast, slightly vegetal. (3.75)

T:
Slightly bitter, grassy. Simple bitterness, pepper, leafy green hops, slightly herbal finish. (4)

M:
Dry, light-medium body, creamy with lots of tiny carbonation, lingering impression-but-not-quite-an-aftertaste. (3.75)

O:
Tasty pilsner.
This is a pretty good beer and is a fairly textbook pilsner to my tastes (who knows about the double part...).
Pours nice, with a grassy, green character on the whole and the pilsner malt presence that is expected. Very drinkable, but a little heavy-hitting on the ol' booze for a session beer. This is a good one for summer (if it was less strong) or winter if it was less refreshing (hahaha).
Would have again; worth a try if you see it. (3.75)
