Appearance - The beer was brownish in color.

Smell - The aroma was lemony with grainy impressions of yeast.

Taste - My initial impression was a lemony butterscotch. Also present were pear, sweet berries, and biscuits. The aftertaste is pleasant with notes of sweet fruit.

Mouthfeel - The tripel was sticky, lending itself to linger in the mouth.

Overall - For a tripel, this was a little different. However, I really enjoyed the interpretation of the style.

Instantly when you pop the bottle it smells of ripe bananas and pears. The taste is very similar, but it's also like a hefeweizen.

A true local legend for me. Consistently excellent in quality and taste. Nose is apple, pear, banana with touch of citrus. Balance is perfect and 10% alcohol well hidden and potential for trouble. Beautiful translucent orange/Amber. Never get tired of this beer.

A: The beer is hazy yellowish amber in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving some wispy traces of bubbles on the surface and a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bananas and candi sugar are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has some notes of bananas towards the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an interesting take on a triple that in some respects resembles a pale ale.
