This bitter pours a some what hazy pale or dull orange, little or no head to speak of. Scent is yeasty and musty, a bit floral, lemony. Taste is more malty than yeasty but with same mustiness, and thats not a bad thing. Taste has some caramel notes in there as well. Mouthfeel is clean and crisp. Overall, a decent bitter. This beer needs to warm a bit.

A - Pretty, somewhat cloudy wheat, stark white head, leaves to disk and lots of lace.

S - Light malt, grain. Pretty 'clean' smelling.

T - About the same for the taste. Nothing over the top here. Just nice standard, clean ale.

M - Light body, good carb, light balance of hop to malt.

D - Very, very easy to drink. Not overpowering and I cannot believe ANY beer can taste this good at this ABV.

$3.49 16.5 oz bottle. I was really excited to try this one. Heard a lot of good stuff from Sam Smith.

A - Pours a clear pale orange. A good amount of carbonation. About an inch thick head with sticky lacing.

S - Sweet aroma. Slight carmel notes with some clove-like spices. I'm getting a little nutty note as well. It's unique.

T - Mildly bitter up front with a wave of faint sweetness throughout. Very refreshing. A little citrusy as well. The finish is full and bready.

O - Bitterness is just right. If this was the only beer in the world, I'd be a very happy man.

I've got Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale just waiting for me in the fridge. Can't wait for the next one.

Poured from a 550ML bottle.

A - Light golden honey in color, got a decent white head about 2 fingers, receded quickly, nice lacing on the glass.

S - Notes of citrus and maybe a little floral, malt is there but very subdued, almost slate like.

T - Dry malt and some citrus come through almost no hops to speak of, a nicely balanced beer, little hint of sweetnes on the after taste.

M - Light bodied, mild carbonation.

D - Is very drinkable, good starter beer to ween your friends off of the mass market beers.
