A: Pours a hazy light ruby in color with a two finger tall off-white/pink head. The head reduces to a thin layer of bubbles with a thicker ring of bubbles at the edges of the glass. The beer exhibits significant lacing.

S: Very sweet strawberry is the primary flavor but not as sweet as a soda or juice. Very pleasant.

T: The flavor is both sweet and sour strawberry, there is a very subtle hint of malts but not a lot.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: Really enjoyable like the other Sam Smith fruit beers. Very sessionable and something I will definitely get again.

A- Pours a pinkish tone that is somewhat hazed....not sure if from chilling for from yeast....I'll go with the latter! The color of the head is just off white and starts about two fingers thick and really holds its form, leaving behind a thick one finger thick film over the brew! Carbonation is aggressive by looks and the lacing is somewhat modest....with small patches sticking to my glass....

S- This really smells like strawberries and cream! Underlying aromas of yeast, caramel and a syrupy note are included....the finish is non existent really....this is just pure freshly pressed strawberry juice that has been fermented into a simply yummy smelling brew!

T- Flavors follow the aromas very precisely! There is a fresh creamy tart strawberry fruit flavor that is simply refreshing and is very much like juice or a strawberry soda! Yeasty malt is noted....fresh barley grains and a rhubarb quality are blended into this as well. Excellent!

M/O- Heavy carbonation and a full dessert like body make this an ideal summer sipper or would go with strawberries and cream dessert! Alcohol is very well hidden and one really wouldn't know this is a beer without knowing. This is very delectable and I'd recommend....a great beer to get into craft and yet another great offering from Sam Smith!

It is my favorite fruit flavored beer. It really tastes like strawberry. I order it by the case.

Pours light amber with a thin dirty dishwater head.

Smell is quite good with creamy vanilla and strawberry.

Tastes like a blend of those candies that have the wrapper that looks like a strawberry and strawberry ice cream. Sweet.

Smooth body with high drinkability if you like strawberries. A nice summer treat with not a lot of complexity.

First review. Love the bottle, somewhere between a bomber and a regular 12 oz. The smell of this beer is very noticeable, unlike some beers that do not smell like their underlying fruit. This one IS strawberries. Taste was good, but a strong sourness lingered. Not like drinking a lambic. Overall a good fruit beer.

Appearance: high carbonation, 1 inch head, re/orange in color, clear

Smell: strawberries and light toasted malt

Taste: big time strawberries both sweet and tart with a little toasted malt

Mouthfeel: tart and sweet. The sweetness never gets to the cloying level, high carbonation, medium-light body

Overall: This one is a very good fruit beer that screams strawberries. It is both tart and sweet. A great dessert beer, the alcohol is not noticeable. I could have several.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a yellow-orange color with an white head. The aroma is strawberry nothing else. The flavor is the same as the aroma. I get a lot of strawberry notes but nothing else. The beer is just as fruity as the Samuel Smith Organic Raspberry, but doesn't seem to be as well executed. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

A. Peachy caramel with pretty nice head. Looks more like wine

S. Holy strawberry Batman! Reminds me of a strawberry faygo. With a hint of honey

T. Strawberries! No malt or hops. Not my favorite. Tastes more like a sweet wine..

M. Fairly fizzy,acidic

O. This "beer" was tastey but didn't quite hit the spot..maybe if it were a higher proof..If I was to get more,I would find a way to cook with it

When I saw this at my local I thouht the only other Strawbeery brew I've sampled was Melbourn Bros, and a I continued to read the labeled this one is still brewed a Melbourn Bros just it's blended and bottled and Sammy Smith's plant. Appears a brilliant copper amber hue with a big off white tan head forms thick with sturdy flowingcarbonatin. Head sticks around for ahile leaving nice chunky scattred lacing clinging to my La Fin du Monde chalice. Aromatics explode like fresh strawberr jam as soon as I cracked the 550 ml bottle. Smells and tastes like a dessert beer, no real hop nose or breadiness just strawberry flowing fruitines. Flavor is solid not toothache sweet but it would best be served after dinner with a dessert. A mild earthiness and mineral water tone appeas in the finish along with the strawberry tartness going on...nicely balanced experince that I don't get from many fruit infused brews. Mouthfeel is medium bodied carbonation going strong but not overly done. Drinkability overall as stated is better in small portions and for the price I can see why, definitely would go over great with the ladies buy one for grandma on Mother's Day.
