Spent many night's drinking this elixir of mystery.
Sometimes you could drink 5 pints of it and be completely fine, other times you could have 3 pints and be completely off your nut and fall asleep on the TFL central line to the end of line and back again and then wake up wondering why you're back at the same stop you started off at.
The taste I always felt was like terrible for the first pint but once you've sank one it was actually alright. Used to be well cheap in London £2 a pint.

Light yellow golden color with a thin head with short retention.
Very light aroma of herbal hops and vanilla bread.
Sweet malt flavor with notes of herbal hops and hints of honey and vanilla. Mildly dry and bitter aftertaste.
Given its light body and low alcohol while maintaining a regular amount of hops, it made this beer not as boring as it could be. Still watery and mild on flavors. Good if quenching your thirst.

Half-pint on nitro at the Angel in the Fields.
A: Clear gold body under a gorgeous inch of creamy white foam that rises well above the rim of the glass. Tons of ultra-fine bubbles rise through the beer to reinforce the epic (for a half-pint, at least) head. Stellar.
S: Light, crisp, and clean. Some floral hops and lager yeast. A touch of peppery spice. Not as intense as I might like, but hugely clean and enjoyable for the style.
T: Pale malt, herbal hops, and a clean, fairly sweet finish. Less than complex, but quite quaffable.
M: Highly carbonated, with creamy froth just exploding as it hits my tongue. Fun, but a bit over the top.
O: Obviously this beer isn't from a style that raises high expectations, and this brew certainly wouldn't meet terribly high ones. It does a pretty great job meeting low ones, though, as it has some genuinely interesting flavors going on behind the crisp drinkability. Good stuff.

On-tap at the Cock in London. Appears a pretty clear gold with a white head. This is an utterly clean, bland, and inoffensive lager, to be saved for only those who want a change from Bud Light. There's a hint of pale malts, but the character is very thin and unimpressive - especially for not being cheap beer. Avoid.
