Slightly buttery character, but with a pleasant spiced profile as well. Balanced body with mild hops.

Orange, but approaching amber in color. Light haze. and a 2 finger white head that's thick and chunky, and leaves spectacular thick, clingy lacing.

Nutty with sweet caramel in the aroma. Light fruitiness, grapes or dark fruit.

Dry in taste becoming slightly fruity and lemony tart with light toasted nuts and a hint of caramel. Slight bitter citrus peel.

Light bodied, light carbonation, astringent and drying.

Not a bad beer. The taste is rather subdued for a winter brew in my opinion, but it's pleasing nonetheless.

Deep reddish orange in color with a heavy haze. Poured with a short off-white foam with low retention. Mellow, sweet, dark fruit, light toffee, and bicuity malt aromas. On the heavier side of medium bodied with medium carbonation. Light, viscous feel with light warmth on the back end. Sweet, dark apple and fruit flavors followed by sweet, dark, biscuity malt and toffee notes. Medium light hop bitterness. Finished semi-dryly with sweet toffee and bready maltness with sweet fruity notes. Sweet and malty with a touch of bitterness for balance. Not sure if I would call this a winter warmer as it drinks more like a sweet english pale ale. Winter warmee is a broad style I suppose. Whatever, it was tasty, malty and well, very english.

A caramel bomb in looks and flavor. Falls down for the extra strength and reserve I'd expect in a winter welcome warmer.
a) 550ml bottle. Crazy busy label. The beer pours a clear unusual glowing caramel amber with a finger of dense lacing and lasting off-white head. Not crazy about color, but love the crown.
s) First, bready caramel malt, brown sugar, (British), then comes (winter) applesauce and toddy spices - cinnamon, clove, and ginger.
t) The taste follows aroma - caramel first and heavy, with some toffee malt, brown sugar, and a few holiday spices.
f) Falls short on feel, low carbonation, thin but creamy. Yet not weighty enough for a winter beer. Better at cask temp.

A: clear ruby red amber color with some lighter golden notes. 1 finger bright white head

S: caramel, oak, sweet berries, cardboard, grassy hops

T: Caramel, sweet berries, and the grassy hops up front. There is a faint hint of molasses towards the end. Finish has sweet malt and a little of the grassy hops; they balance each other out

M: heavier side of medium mouthfeel with high carbonation

O: nice winter warmer. It’s not as toasty as the American versions, but it’s heavy and malty without being cloy. Great bottle to split as the days get cold
