Brewed with great care using only organic malted barley, organic hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.
The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve this lager’s flavour, purity and condition.

I like that it is organic. And that it actually tastes better than most beers too. It reminds me of a medium bodied beer that tastes sorta like honey. It's definitely a "lager" which is great. It's very pleasant and easy drinking, but do I dare say it is somewhat boring? It is slightly sweeter than most lagers.

Poured from an undated 14.9-oz can into a pint glass.
Look: Gold, with a 1” fluffy off-white head that lingered, leaving a foam cap and adequate lacing.
Nose: Lightly toasted grain, a bit of yeast and bread; very pleasant.
Mouthfeel: Light medium, sufficient carbonation.
Attack: Follows the nose; some hops evident.
Finish: A bit of hop bitterness.
Overall: The classic for this style: gentle, highly drinkable. This is a go-to lager for lighter meals; for instance, it’s pairing quite nicely tonight with a bowl of ham fried rice. I nearly always keep at least a can or two of this in my cellar.

14.9 oz can into a tall Lager glass.
L: Pours lightly yeast hazed bright straw yellow with steady carbo bubbles, a thin domed eggshell white head that has OK retention, random med-thick skeletal lacing.
S: Bready malts, light apple, a hint of fruits, light yeast, earthy with warming.
T: Light fruits, a hint of bread, a bit grassy, light yeast, distant lemon & zest, grains, has very little after taste.
F: Straight forward, wet, med-light bodied feel with a medium-fast tapering finish that is gently dry.
O: Simple tastes make this balanced beer simply easy drinking and tasty. I taste Pilsner malts here. It is very good in its style.

From a can, pours a clear, golden yellow, with a big, foamy head which settles nicely. A faint metallic and bready scent. Interesting, unexpectedly delicious taste. A little spicy, a little malty, with a slightly bitter or citrus aftertaste. Light and well-balanced, with a smooth mouthfeel. Overall, pleasantly surprised.

a: clear, dark straw yellow color with a fluffy bright white head, 2 fingers that fades quick
s: sweet grainy citrus zest hits you up front for a nice note. grassy and grains followed by a lager spice. some lemongrass and biscuits behind that. this has a nice bit of citrus that you don't see all the time in Euro Lagers
t: clean and crisp grains up front followed by a biscuity bready note that isn't heavy. sweet grass and lemongrass followed by sweet lemon. crackers and lager spice to close
m: light mouthfeel with medium-high carbonation. could use a bit more carb
o: a very fantastic Pale Lager. it goes beyond the mass-produced stuff and you can tell it's well-made. the citrus adds a nice bit

As many times as i've tried to give this the benefit of the doubt with each revisit, it has always made me regret picking it up. As average as an average lager could taste. it's just not worth it.
