look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75

Appearance: a deep red, with a brownish hint. a tannish head, a finger or so worth that fades slowly to nothing. nice clarity

Smell: caramel malts, some slightly sweet fruits. maybe a touch of chocolate

Taste: caramel malts, sweet fruits, and earthy hops to balance it out.

Mouthfeel: mostly light and smooth but a little to bitter for what the taste is

Overall: A solid beer. obviously not poorly brewed but lacks any uniqueness or perfection that makes it stand out from the crowd. Nice to hear of a new michigan brewer who can brew solid beers, now they just need to step it up a notch.
