A nut brown ale brewed with Ceremony Coffee Roasters "Destroyer" espresso coffee. A beautiful balance of subtle coffee notes and a caramel malt profile.

Cask pint at The Brass Tap in Baltimore. Have enjoyed this many times at the Pratt Street Ale House. I think I prefer the draught version even more.

Stumbled upon this at the local market in the last week. Adjusted my marks (upward) after enjoying a 12oz can (31/10/2018 "Express Yourself" stamp on the bottom) poured into a large snifter.

Poured into a Wicked Weed snifter. No freshness date.

A- Pours a medium brown color with a 1/2 inch light tan head that retains decently before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of sheer surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves a solid ring behind.

S- Mildly roasty aroma that's a bit sweet with a bit of coffee.

T- Taste is more interesting than the aroma as the sweetness and coffee are well integrated within the flavor profile. Slight roast and hop bitterness. Easy to drink without lacking in flavor.

M- Standard brown feel with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the fuller side.

O- A nice brown ale where the coffee helps elevate the flavors. Nothing crazy here but, as far as brown ales go, I'd revisit it.

12oz can. Tasty brown ale. Nice bitter coffee flavor but a bit on the thin side and it lacked some richness and sweetness. Overall a very nice beer. Thanks Bill for the gift.
