Poured off tap into a pint glass. Pours pitch black with a small light brown head. Smells of coffee with slight chocolate. Tastes of chocolate and coffee with very slight hop bite. Beer is light bodied, slightly over carbonated, but still very easy to drink. Overall a very good beer.

On tap at Big Hunt. Pours a very dark brown color, clear, but dark. It has a full white head that seems to just sit on top of the beer even after settling for a few minutes. Looks awesome.

I think something is wrong with the tap, or the beer. This smells like pure butterscotch. It is unbelievably sweet. Behind that, you get roasted malts, molasses, caramel.

The taste is very sweet and acidic. Molasses, toffee, burnt toast, alot of sweet caramel, dark fruit, and some hop content on the back end.

Mouthfeel is a bit thin, but almost buttery. The finishes is dry and a little bitter with the hops fighting through whatever else is going on.

I am going to keep my eye out for this at another bar to see if it was the beer or the tap and happy to re-review if so, but as is, this wasn't good.

On tap at the Pratt st Alehouse.
A pretty desent porter. It had a good roasted malt taste. It drinks easy and flows over the palate with ease. It had a dark brown color with a smallish beige head that left some spotty lacing.
I wasn't too thrilled with the beers there but this one was a stand out for me.
