The Termopilas Péché is an Imperial Stout brewed with the coffee of the same name ! The light roast softens the roasted flavours to let the nutty flavours shine through. The beer is also slightly more acidic than the classic Péché Mortel.

Dark brown with a moist tan head, low to moderate retention, minor lacing. Roasty coffee notes, chocolate, spice. Moderate to thin body, light to moderate carbonation. Lovely series of stouts.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt notes with some floral coffee notes is quite enjoyable. Taste is a good mix of roasted malt with nice floral coffee notes with some black chocolate notes also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Similar to the regular version and quite enjoyable overall.

A:
Pours a thick jet black with a couple fingers of khaki head. Okay retention; confetti lacing. (4.25)
S:
Rich coffee roast aromas, dark chocolate, green pepper. (4.25)
T:
Nutty, greasy, roasty coffee with some light chocolatey sweetness. (4.5)
M:
Rich, full body with media. carbonation and a lingering, warming finish. (4.25)
O:
This is a very nice beer all told.
I don't know that I can really pick it apart too much from the standard Péché, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Lots of mellow, nutty roast flavors and A clean coffee middle. A delicious beer I'd gladly have again. (4.25)

One of the Peche brews that deviates from the original in the type of coffee used. The look and taste matches the classic but the nose beats it. It smells of freshly percolated coffee, like I have never smelled before in a beer. Remarkable. All in all, not much else to add that hasn't been said by the first review. A great beer.

Part of the Peche day 2018 4 pack. This is Peche Mortel brewed with Termopilas coffee which is supposed to give it a more mellow coffee flavour and be nutty.
Appearance - This beer pours The same deep black in color as the regular Peche again, The head on this was about 2 fingers and thick bubbly mocha that faded within 5-6 mins to a film over the top of the glass. of the 3 I've tried so far, this one has the least visible carbonation.
Aroma - This I really enjoy , The description was right on point its a nice smooth mellow coffee with some cashew nutty aromas on the back end. Simple to explain and smells delicious.
Taste - The nut flavors are really prominent up front and mesh with the coffee on the back end. The coffee is not nearly as bitter as it is in the original and this is nice and smooth.
Feel - Thick and creamy is the perfect way to describe this beer it is very similar to the latte in terms of feel. This box in general has had some very drinkable 9.5% beers. Damn. The bitterness is very much subduded by the nut flavors and the creamy character.
Overall - Of the 3 I've tried from this box this has to be my second favorite after the latte, This is only because I prefered the balance of the sweetness and bitterness over moderate bitterness with a nutty almost salty counterbalance. All the same they are very close in terms of ratings and if you like strong stouts and thick creamy beers this is for you.

On nitro. Had just after the 2017 Special Edition. I prefer this one. There is a bit of fruitiness present, and the body seems a bit lighter. The usual flavours as well. There seems to be a slight spiciness as well. The 2016 Special Edition remains my favourite in terms of "different coffee" variants, but this is good.
